Wonderful stay at Above It All

Beautifully appointed apartment. Perfect for our family of four. Wonderful deck with water views. Fantastic location for beach and downtown restaurants. Cant wait to stay again!

We enjoyed being on Mason Ave and being able to walk out the door onto the main street of Cape Charles. The property was very clean and had a very big family room and kitchen area.

Girls Weekend Away

We had a lovely stay. Location was excellent and the condo was the perfect size. The roof deck was perfect for the sunset view.

Everything was just right! The location was perfect, a short walk to the beach, the condo was stocked with everything we needed (including a pack and play), and importantly, the unit was very clean.

Anniversary Weekend

It was our 14 year anniversary and our first time away from our kids and we wanted somewhere relaxing yo stay and this was it. We were able to park the car and walk everywhere which was perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Check-In:-Not smooth; did not receive outside door code to get into the building.-Waited about 15 minutes before given clear instructions on how to enter.-Should have received a "welcome" email with instructions at least the day of arrival, which had instructions to enter the building.Elevator:-Initially difficult to use, but easily disabled due to user error and poor elevator operation design.-Elevator was disabled when we arrived because a previous guest/tenant did not close the inside gate.Stay:-Clean, well-furnished, and stocked with dish and laundry detergent, paper towel, sponge, pack-and-play, high-chair, and beach wagon.-Location is very convenient to the stores and beach-Good parking in the front of the buildingCommunication:-Staff are available 24/7

Our weekend retreat in your beautiful apartment made discovering the idyllic hamlet of Cape Charles feel like we were coming back home, despite the fact that it was our maiden voyage to peaceful harbor.

We had a great time at the condo. The location was amazing right above the wine shop and so close to the beach. The back porch with water views was shady and the fans kept any bugs away. Spent lots of time out there enjoying morning coffee. The decor was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Great location, Well Appointed, Very Clesn

Located on Mason it was in the middle of the main commercial street with lots of shops. We were able to walk to shops, dinning and the beach. Nice balcony and rooftop deck with views of the Chesapeake Bay and harbor.

Great Place For Families

Overall it was a great stay. There were ants in the kitchen and the bathroom by the kitchen had a foul smell, but it was all tolerable. The place was very clean, comfortable furniture, great location, water views, great balcony and very spacious.

Beautiful place and perfect location!

This condo is perfectly located right in town near the Cape Charles shops and restaurants and just a super short walk to the beach! The condo itself was beautifully decorated and felt very clean. It was also spacious and perfect for our family of 4 - our kids had a great time!! We would definitely rent this place again next summer!!

Great Cape Charles Condo

This condo is well represented. Easy to access. Clean and well outfitted. The only downside we had was trying to charge a golf cart, but we made it work with the help of CC Ryders.

Cute place. Clean. Queen bed was good. Other bed not comfortable. Carpet in spare needs to be replaced. Cleaned bird poop that was all over back porch. I would stay again if it were just me.

It is in the perfect location! We parked our car and did not have to drive again until we left. A quick walk to the beach, restaurants, bakery, ice cream and many cute shops. We had great weather and were able to enjoy lots of time on the back porch. Loved the board games to play together! Would highly recommend this condo and look forward to coming back.

Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful little place in the heart of Cape Charles; unfortunately, I have mobility issues and booked this 3rd floor apartment because it had an elevator and it was clear that this elevator was not working and probably has not been working in quite some time. If you know that the elevator does not work you should remove this from the listing or provide a discount - period.

Our family of four visited Cape Charles for a weekend wedding and loved the central location of "Above it All". An easy walk to the beach and even closer to the shops and restaurants that line Mason Ave. Our arrival was a bit frustrating as we were not given access codes to the main entrance door, nor to the building's shared rooftop (which is the main picture on this property's listing), but I was pleased by how easy it was to connect with the property management company and they quickly resolved our building entry issues. We never could access the rooftop. The condo was bright, spacious, and well-stocked. The cleanliness was not quite what I expected but again, Chesapeake Properties was apologetic and offered to try to get housekeeping out to re-clean. We declined due to having to get ready for the wedding but appreciated the offer. Overall, a nice property despite the few hiccups.

It was decorated so cute and had almost everything we needed for our stay. There was no blender on site but I called ahead of time and was advised the condo had this. While there I called and they were very accommodating and bought us by a blender to use for our babies food. The condo also had two children kayaks and my kiddos enjoyed using those! We would definitely come back.
