The beaches there were packed and the traffic was bad. Moving up to Anchorage was such an improvement. It was much quieter.

Reviewer Comments: The rental was not near and clean and in condition as one we stayed in 2 1/2 yrs ago and one we had stayed in from Nov. 2022 until Feb. 11, 2023.

Anne I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy staying in unit 105. I wish you had let us know you had any issues as I'm so surprised to hear about the cleaning. The owners had been in the condo for several weeks in January and the condo had been deep cleaned. Thank you for bringing this to my attention I will be doing a full inspection this week.

Having the bunkbeds in the second bedroom was great! My only issue is that, in the description of the condo online, it stated that this condo sleeps 7 and that it has a sofa bed. There is only a regular couch in this condo. If you actually bring 7 people, you would not have enough beds for everyone. Otherwise, I would always recommend this condo and Anchorage 2.

No Sleeper Sofa

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The description on the condo rental states sleeper sofa and 2 full size beds. We checked into the condo and were frustrated to find out that there was NO sleeper sofa and only 1 full size bed. The bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom is a twin over full so only 1 full size bed. The rental company offered to give us an air mattress but those are so uncomfortable so my son's girlfriend had to sleep on the couch all week.When we checked into the condo the AC was not working. I called right away and the rental company was able to get someone out to take a look. Thankfully he was able to fix the problem that night. The rental company was fast to respond to our problem with the condo but not having the correct beds that was advertised and what I paid for was very frustrating.The condo was ok. Keurig machine leaks when making coffee. A few of the dishes/pans were put away dirty and it looked like no one cleaned behind the trash can in the kitchen. I guess I expected a little better conditions for the price we paid.

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the inaccurate bed description. You are absolutely right to be frustrated, and we understand how disappointing it must have been to arrive and find fewer sleeping accommodations than expected. We’ve since reviewed the listing and have corrected the descriptions so this doesn't happen to future guests. While we were glad to offer an air mattress, we understand it's not the same. We’re also sorry to hear about the A/C issue upon arrival, but we’re glad it was resolved quickly that same evening. Your patience and understanding in that situation mean a lot to us. We appreciate the heads-up about the Keurig and the cleanliness concerns as well. That is absolutely not the level of quality we aim to provide, and we are addressing this directly with our cleaning team to ensure future guests receive a properly cleaned and maintained space. Your feedback helps us do better, and we’re sorry that your stay did not fully reflect the value you expected, especially given the cost. If you decide to return, we would love the opportunity to make it up to you and provide a more comfortable and seamless experience. Thank you again for bringing these issues to our attention.

The owner provided all of the startup items, as well as the place was overly stocked with towels, wash cloths, sheets, pillows, etc. Nothing was lacking. The complex was family oriented and quite after 10:00, which was nice for sitting out on the balcony and listening to the ocean. Love that the property has it's own walkway to the beach. Also, the locker full of beach chairs and toys!! Would definitely stay here again!!!

We last visited the Anchorage several years ago, when a family member owned a condo there, and this condo exceeded our expectations. The common areas are nicely maintained, and it remains one of the best kept smaller condos in the area. The other vacationers were very nice, and we met a very kind HOA board member who was putting umbrellas down late at night. Thank you for a lovely week here!
