Kalbarri Escape

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were warmly welcomed on our arrival and our three bedroom unit had lovely river views as promised. The complex was well located and had great facilities with pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and playground with tennis rackets and balls available to use. The apartments are dated however our apartment was clean and well equipped,although quite small. I did feel the provision of consumables such as toilet paper (1 roll for 5 people provided) and dishwashing liquid (insufficient for 4 night stay) were limited and some basics like soap for handwashing would be good. Overall we had a great stay.

Never again in darkness

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House had no light in main bedroom just a lamp Bathroom light dull and dark had to put lamp in there to see and get ready No main light in lounge again just a lamp oven filthy have pics Towels were dirty Dirt and filth under beds have pic Old furniture with holes in Very unsafe steep stairs no photo when booking not normal stairs like a 2 story property Photos on website very misleading When rang to discuss sarcasm given on phone told we could move to ground floor property for more money Very unhappy ruined our mini break

Kids wanted to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time in Kalbarri. We enjoyed the sunset and the pool. Our daughter found the top bunk uncomfortable to sleep on so we just put it on the ground and she was fine. We’d have found it helpful to have more in the kitchen. But overall it was a great place and the best holiday! The kids cried when we had to leave.

Revitalising break

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Apartment 14 was perfect for our family. It is ideally located and it was roomy enough to cater for our needs. Prospective guests should be aware that the internal staircase is very tight to ascend and descend. It would not be appropriate for anyone with mobility issues.This was our third stay at the complex. Whilst it has had the private ownership arrangement every time we have been there, the facilities are certainly nowhere near as atmospheric as they once were. Previously those overseeing the complex would run movie nights and a number of other activities. In its current form, the complex itself is quite soulless. There was once a games room and this has been converted into a gym. This feature is awesome.Would we come back to stay at #14? Absolutely. We would, however, have lower expectations for the complex itself.

Thank you for your review , We do appreciate your feed back on the complex, unfortunately we have no control over the outside of the units, We do report regularly to the complex caretakers about how run down the complex is looking, so hopefully this will change over time.
