Weekend getaway

The property was very clean and the cootage was great. We enjoyed relaxing there in the evenings but did not spend a lot of time there due to wine trips and fishing. Would highly recommend this place and will probably book again next year.

Our party of 5 hosted our board game retreat here this fall. We enjoyed the ample living room seating, scenic view, and large dining table for our activities.

Picturesque Cottage and View!

This beautiful cottage was tucked in just the right area. Surrounded by greenery and a lovely view of the bay! The owner was super nice and helpful!

Fun getaway!

We enjoyed an extended weekend with family in this cute and comfortable cottage! The kids had room to run, and the great grandparents could enjoy the view from the deck. Visited the beach nearby, fished off the docks at the marina next door, and had a camp fire every night!

Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful few days at this beautiful property. Everything was provided that we needed and the home was super clean. Plenty of space to spread out and also sweet spots to be together. We loved the living area that overlooked the bay with a whole wall of windows. Great firepit area with plenty of chairs provided. Bathroom was huge and so clean. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Every detail was thought of! The view is incredible and we already have booked another time at this lovely getaway. Just an incredible place for some much needed time away!

Lovely views and lazy days

My mom was very happy to be part of the gathering. She is 90 and was able move around in and outside. The cottage is MUCH bigger than it seems from the images. It is an upscale, clean, thoughtful living space with great viewing of the marina and the sunrise.

Perfect

We loved everything about this charming home. The view was amazing, the home was immaculate and beautifully appointed and the location, surrounded by nature was tranquil and a great place to walk. The kitchen had everything you need and all kitchen items and appliances were is “like new” condition. The beds were comfortable. Sandy was a gracious host and was available when we had a question. Could not make a higher recommendation!

Lovely Lake House

We had a very comfortable stay here for two nights. Great view of Sodus Bay from the dining area through the living room and out on the back deck so you can enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces. The area was very peaceful. The shade from the very large, old oak trees along the waterfront was perfect. The bathroom was beautiful and the soft-close drawer slides in the kitchen were nice. We appreciated the welcome bags of mini cookies. We also appreciated everything being on the first floor since one of us had a recovering knee injury. Sandra was very helpful and responsive for our whole trip. She answered questions about what the cottage contained (it does have grill utensils; it doesn't have a kettle, so I brought my own). She arranged early check in for us and helped us when we had trouble with the door entry lock.

Family getaway

The views of the bay from the deck and lower peninsula were just beautiful. We were able to fish, enjoy a fire at night and relax outside on the deck with coffee or drinks. The grill was great for preparation of a nice sit- down meal at the large dining room table (nice and cool inside with the AC!) Inside the house, the kitchen was well-stocked and had new, beautiful appliances. We appreciated the welcome basket with a few keurig pods, tea bags, and cookies and be pretzels. The large walk-in shower was very nice and it was great that there was another half bath for our group of eight. Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was ideal for day trips to Sodus Point, Chinney Bluffs State Park and Fair Haven State Park. We rented a pontoon boat for four hours - the marina and bait shop is only 4 miles away! Very convenient. A great roomy yet cozy home for our sibling get together.

Place was beautiful, Evolve, not so much

Place was beautiful. Clean and everything worked well. Thermostat was a bit of a hassle. Seemed to be wifi enabled and didnt seem to always run when called to. As an HVAC tech, I would have thought it would be easier. Major hangup early was Evolve. I saved $300 by canceling my reservation and re-booking for the same weekend which meant that I could have lost the place once canceled. Evolve couldnt fix the price change so that was my only option. Or pay the $300 extra for booking early. At least it felt like I was being penalized for booking early. But, it worked out. I could say that I would rent the place again but it has all gotten ridiculously expensive compared to our past anniversary travels. It appears that this market has been ruined as do most after they run their course for a few years.

Great view and location!

Decided at last minute to take time off before school year begins and found this rental. It was wonderful! Everything you could think of was supplied. The view inside and out was great! The photos don’t do it justice. We all enjoyed our time here. Would recommend staying late week into weekend as most of the nearby restaurants and businesses are closed during the earlier part of the week. Quiet place regardless. Owner very responsive. Really nice beach nearby. Would recommend!

Perfect little house

I hesitate to say how much we loved this house and spot as it will book up! It has a beautiful view and is very peaceful. The house has all necessities, is clean and very updated. It was a long drive to the finger lakes which is where we spent most of our time, but we did not mind as we had nice nights staying in and cooking hot dogs and smores at the fire pit! Everything with our stay was easy. We will definitely be back.
