Escape to Happy Hours, a modern mountain retreat in Big Bear's Village Area, just a 5-minute walk from Big Bear Lake. This 3-bedroom cabin accommodates up to 6 guests and features a wood-burning stove fireplace, loft game space, fenced backyard and classic Big Bear charm.

Enjoy easy days by the lake and relaxing evenings at home. Walk to Meadow Park for tennis, basketball and playground fun, then return for foosball, a BBQ on the deck or a cozy evening by the fireplace.

Inside the cabin
The spacious living room features comfortable seating, a wood-burning stove fireplace, ceiling fan, cable TV, Apple TV and fast WiFi. A dining table provides a comfortable space for shared meals and gatherings.

The updated kitchen features modern countertops and stainless-steel appliances, including a stove, oven, refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher and microwave. A blender, toaster, coffee maker, Crock-Pot, rice cooker, cookware, dishes and utensils are also provided.

The loft game space includes a foosball table, while board games, card games and books offer additional entertainment for relaxing evenings.

Happy Hours Review

Everything was great for the most part. We were disappointed that the fireplace was duraflame only as we had firewood we intended to burn but had to go purchase duraflame logs to have a fire. I feel like that should have been in the listing/website.

Thank you so much for helping us with the front door and the deadbolt issue so quickly! It was evening so I was afraid I wouldn't get a hold of anyone,but you were able to have everything taken care of right away!

Christmas stay

Generally ok, we enjoyed the break. Kitchen needs new crockery, glasses etc for the amount of people. 6 people is absolutely max. It's a little dated and could do with some updates. Some small touches for Christmas would have been nice.

Good Experience

We had a great time staying at Happy Hours overall. The property was comfortable and well-equipped, making our stay enjoyable. However, we did notice that the bathroom could have been cleaner upon arrival. Additionally, there was only one shower available, which wasn’t sufficient for our group. This was a bit disappointing as the listing gave the impression there were two full bathrooms. Clarifying this in the description would be helpful for future guests. Despite these points, we enjoyed our time and appreciated the hospitality.

Summer stay

The house is nice, decorated great. I don't recommend staying in the hotter days. Terribly hot & even if there's a breeze very few windows open or give any relief, the house temp was a 78' & couldn't cool it down. The four of us got no sleep, because of this. We almost left but were too tired to drive & other places were booked. We purchased fans at CVS & 2 slept downstairs & the other 2 shared the couch downstairs. I'm sure it's a great place when it's cold but don't go in the summer. And the pillows are way to hard!

This property is way over priced - not worth the cost!We rate this property 2 stars for numerous reasons:First, the rental process with cool cabins was difficult and time consuming.More importantly, the property is old and tired. It needs new carpet, only has one shower.The plumbing is loud in the master bedroom and kept us awake.The toaster is rusty. The house isn’t clean, it’s dusty and dirty, a thin choice of linens is provided.The rules required us to pack out our trash and put the dishes away.The location is good and the neighborhood is nice, but for the money - not worth it.
