Location, Location, Location!! Emerald Isle Cabin

Cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath, pet friendly cabin with a wood burning fireplace. Ideal for your summer or winter getaway wether hitting the bike trails or the ski slopes. This is a fabulous location nestled among trees. Less than a mile from the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, Bear Mountain Golf Course, hiking trails, Bear Mountain Ski Resort and Snow summit is 1.2 miles away.

The space
The cabin has a spacous open floor plan. You'll find everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The kitchen has all you need to cook dinner for you and your guests. There are smart TV's and DVD players in the bedrooms and in the living room that are set up to play your own Netflix , HBO and other TV apps. Plenty of board games for kids and adults under the bunk beds. There is also a nice selection of DVD's for both kids and adults. Extra blankets in the ottoman in the living room. Wifi through out.

There are three bedrooms, with six beds. The master bedroom has king size bed and an on suite bathroom. Two guest bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the second guest room has two bunk beds that sleep four. Each room has a wardrobe for your clothes.

Washer and dryer available for your use. Iron and ironing board in master bed wardrobe. Safety - First aid kit, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher. It is a single level home so no stairs to negotiate. The central heating is very effective in addition to a stone fireplace for those cold nights.

Two parking spaces in front of the cabin. Large backyard with a four burner propane BBQ, picnic table, hammock, and yard games (horse shoes, corn hole hole, lawn darts and bocce ball). Front patio with patio furniture for outdoor dinning.

No more than 6 guests and 2 cars. Please note these numbers are strictly enforced.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was clean and cozy and it had everything we needed and more. Communication with the property manager was great. Checking in and out was easy. Overall, we had a great stay and definitely would stay again.

Wonderful spot, Great host, Nice neighborhood. Ideal location for hiking and other attractions. Backyard made it easy with the dogs. Zoo within walking distance. Wanted to see fall colors and the location did not disappoint. We will be back. Thank you for a relaxing long weekend.

We had a great stay. The location is close to town, but far enough to have a quiet evening sitting by the fire pit listening to the wind go through the trees. We ended up extending our stay and the owner was very accommodating. The place is very comfortable and decorated like an old cabin, which was the vibe we were looking for. Check in was easy.

Cabin is perfect for a family vacation. Check-in was quick and easy. The location is awesome, close to everything. We arrived late and we were cold, tired and hungry. The cabin was warm and inviting, the beds were clean and ready for a wonderful nights sleep. If you arrive late and don't feel like going back out, Domino's delivers.The yard is completely fenced in and is kept up well. Perfect for any one with children and/or fur babies. I noticed one review mentioned taking the trash to the dump site but it is really very simple, and close by, just a couple minutes down the road. It is also a very clean disposal site (I wouldn't even call it a dump) you just drive in toss your bags in one of the bins and drive back out. Then back to the cabin takes less than 10 minutes round trip (and that was with grandma driving). My grandson loved the cabin we stayed at on a previous trip, but he said this one was 10 times better, and I agree. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

amazing stay!

it was absolutely stunning and the rules were reasonable and fair we had an amazing stay and the hot tub really tied it all together had lots of fun, very quiet neighborhood and worth the money! the place had everything we needed and more we enjoyed the amenities and the whole house was cozy and clean! 10/10 definitely staying here again

We had such a relaxing time at the Emerald Isle Cabin, we felt at home from the minute we arrived. The cabin was beautifully appointed and the big kitchen made cooking at the cabin a pleasure. Our host, Mark, was super quick to respond and the apartment manager, Jordin, was very accommodating in allowing us an early check-in as we arrived early to get ahead of adverse weather. The cabin is in a nice, quiet neighborhood yet close to town, restaurants and groceries. But we mostly just enjoyed being at the cabin--so relaxing to sit in front of the fire to read. I am already missing being at the Emerald Isle cabin and truly hope to be able to return soon.

Couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house was in a nice quiet location yet a short drive to the village. The home itself was very clean, comfortable and everything you would need was provided. Everything was well organized and labeled which made it really easy to operate all the amenities. The hot tub came in handy after taking part in a tough mudder. Also enjoyed the fireplace and a movie while winding down at night. Mark was an awesome host. Super friendly and would respond right away to any questions. We look forward to staying again any time we are in town.

Summer or Winter vacation

This place is in a great location summer or winter. Great location near all the draws of Big Bear. Golf, Zoo. Skiing, hiking, whatever you desire, all within a few minutes .. and love that quaint cabin feel!

Quiet Mountain Home

Lovely home near the golf course and zoo. We stayed in July when temps were above 80 degrees and A/C would have been nice. Lots of ceiling fans and room fans, however not much of a breeze to cool things down. Beds were nice and very firm. The hot tub was a treat! Finally, we brought 2 small dogs who LOVED the backyard. Great place for a group of 4 adults.

We had a nice stay. This cabin is perfect, very clean, peaceful and had everything we would need.

We came up hoping to spot the famous eagles and we were lucky and got to see one flying over by their nest area. The cabin bed was so so comfortable, we slept in later then we usually do, loved the little candles and am wondering where you got them. The cabin was so nice and clean. The dogs loved the fenced in backyard. Hopefully we will be back in the near future.

A true modern mountain cabin.

Very warm and cozy has a beautiful fireplace nice open kitchen and very comfortable beds and a spa in the back as well as outdoor festive lights front and back.

Great Stay!

Cabin is exactly as shown! Lots of board games and outdoor games available. Mark answered all my questions immediately, the only hiccup we encountered was trying to read the house policy and signing before we were given the code, trying to read, sign and send photo id on the road not so easy. Wish they sent policy day before and then given us the code upon our arrival, other than that cabin is in nice quiet area, walking/riding trails steps away. Highly recommend!

When I'm not working some of my favorite things to do are hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing, mountain biking and skiing. Big Bear allows me to do all those things. I enjoy hosting our home away from home because it allows others to enjoy everything that Big Bear has to offer.
