Whale Watcher Condo #3- Meredith Lodging

With luxurious updates including hardwood floors and a gorgeous new kitchen, Whale Watcher Condo #3 is a terrific retreat above the beach on second story with easy access to Rockaway Beach. Location was wonderful. Having access to the beach was super nice!!Beds were decent comfortable enough. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean when we got there. Would book again!

Great location! Deck was great with lovely views. Sparse amenities though smart TV was nice. WiFi was generally not working well and one of the bedroom door handle difficult to get out of the bedroom. A hand towel in the kitchen and salt would be good

Lovely view and the kitchen was fairly well stocked. But we had no WiFi which resulted in no TV and an inability to work remotely which I had planned on. The router was totally gone. Also the sq footage is around 900 ft we guess

Wifi did not work

We stayed in the Rockaway Beach townhouse. It was advertised to have wifi and a tv with cable/wifi. The wifi did not work for our intire stay. We were unable to watch tv during our entire stay. We are seeking a refun for our rental on this property. We did contact the host during our stay. They sent a maintenance person. Our wifi and tv were not fixed.

Excellent view and location, we walked everywhere! Kids loved having direct access to the beach. Bonus points for having a highchair available for our infant.

Stunning Beach & Ocean Views

Enjoyed a beautiful stay. Everything is decorated so beachy and simply. It feels refreshing and the beach view and sound of the ocean couldn’t have been better. The place had all the comforts of home. Would definitely stay here again.

Rejuvenated!

Though we were careful, I was concerned about the amount of sand we tracked in. Maybe some new-fangled sand trapping rugs inside at the entries. Thank you!

Great location; weak wifi and unresponsive host

Beautiful spot on the beach, and close to shops and restaurants. Some updates have been made, but the space still felt a bit outdated - for instance, the built in microwave above the stove did not work, but they placed a new microwave (that worked) on the counter. This did mean; however, that the hood fan did not work either. The window coverings were also not in terrific shape and difficult to open/close. These were all manageable, but unfortunately the wifi was also extremely poor and we were not able to connect more than one device to stream simultaneously. We reached out to the host for assistance and unfortunately never heard back for the duration of our 3-night stay.
