We got exactly what we expected when we opened the door for our quick getaway for Memorial Day Weekend! The pool was refreshing, our host was incredibly easy to work with, and we enjoyed the sleepy town of Jay OK. This place is a little oasis for families looking to get away and enjoy some pool time together.

This was a very comfortable home; we had plenty of room for two couples and a child. We probably spent as much time outdoors as we did inside. The pool was very nice.

In Jay for a fishing tournament great area and plenty of room for truck and boat parking.

The house was great and owner checked in with us mid stay to make sure everything was good. The room in step down area was warmer than rest of house but we did have a couple of girls that run cold so it worked out. Unfortunately the pool water was too chilly for us to get in. Who would have thought that would happen June. But we enjoyed the hot tub and just sitting by the pool.

We especially appreciate you letting us know about the temperature in the sunken bunk room. The air conditioning unit unexpectedly had a compressor fail during your stay, and thanks to your feedback we've since replaced the entire heating and air unit so future guests will be even more comfortable. We're sorry the pool was a little too chilly for a June visit—Oklahoma weather certainly likes to keep us guessing! We hope you'll come back and stay with us again so you can enjoy a warmer swim next time. Thank you again for choosing our home!

We always enjoy this place

We come here a couple times a year because it's close to my sister. Pool and hot tub are so awesome. House is huge. Has everything you need including lots of extras like spices and coffee and so many towels and blankets.

Amazing place!

Absolutely loved this place. Plenty of room for a big group. Kids and adults both loved the pool and just hanging out in the back yard space. Had everything needed to cook, plenty of towels and blankets. Triple bunk bed was a hit

Love this house

Second time we stayed here and it was great again! Hot tub is awesome. House has plenty of room and all the things you need like plenty of towels, shampoo and stuff, etc. Small stores and gas station right up the road

Lovely property

Very nice home and it was hot so the pool was a bonus. It is close to MAO so the is a bonus as well. Several nice restaurants in town and Grove is close. One small issue that freaked out one of pit guys, there were a ton of spiders in and outside the house.

The pool was so inviting!! We spent hours in the pool everyday. The drive to the lake was about 30 minutes. Not bad but not real close either. The refrigerator was nice and big, Which worked for us because we had a party of 9 family members. We made all of our meals at home. The pots and skillets were nice. My only complaint was the room with the bathroom was very hot, so bring fans with you. We had brought 2 fans plus had the ceiling fan going, The air conditioner worked very well I just think that room was a hot room. You could feel a difference when you stepped in the hall way. With 2 fans and a ceiling fan and the air conditioner at a lower temperature we slept very well. Overall I would recommend this house. We made many wonderful memories!

We really appreciate your helpful feedback as well! Just to update future guests, we have actually gone ahead and completely replaced the AC unit in that bunk room to ensure it stays nice and cool year-round. Also, while some spots on Grand Lake are a bit of a drive, Honey Creek Cove is actually the closest access point and is less than 15 minutes away for anyone looking to get out on the water quickly.

We appreciated the private setting as we enjoyed the pool area. There was great communication with the host. We enjoyed everything about this place.

A nice weekend getaway

We stayed for 2 nights in this spacious home in Jay, OK so we could go to Mid America Outdoors and to Legends of the fall in Disney, OK. We were able to ride our (street legal) RZR from the house to both places with no problems, MAO was maybe 2 minutes away which was very nice. The house was an older home with some updates and plenty of room to spread out if you have a bigger group. The home was very clean but there are areas that could be updated. There is a pool and hot tub as well that would be nice in the summer time. We stayed in the master bedroom, the bed and pillows were comfortable. Overall the house is very cozy and we really enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely stay here again.
