This is a nice, clean cabin with plenty of beds and bathrooms for a large group. The kitchen was well stocked and there was an awesome large dining table for everyone to sit around for meals and games. Note-- if you have"littles", the stairwell is steep. Access to the dock was quick and easy. Nice cove for swimming and kayaking. So fun!

It was ok

The floors were so dirty we had to wear socks otherwise our feet turned black. There so many flies outside it was impossible to be out. Im talking hundreds constantly. The firepit out front had trashed burned in it. The boat ramp was in significant disrepair and the roads were tight to where it was slightly difficult towing the boat. The beds were super hard and only one living area to be in. The only good thing was the dock.

Property was really nice with lots of room and is in a great location. They had everything you could need for your stay. Definitely recommend for any group that is looking for a good lake experience.

Had a great time at this property! House was very clean inside and well stocked with kitchen items, games, towels, blankets. Slept our group of 12 comfortably. Upstairs had a small table for games. Downstairs had a larger table to hang out in. The dock is about a 1 minute walk down a gravel road and does not have a cover but was nice to sit at and swim off of. The only downside was the outside has a fair amount of large weeds around the patio and a significant fly problem which made it hard to sit outside for long. Upstairs has a very nice deck with a fan which made it a little better but still didn’t sit out there too long during the day due to flies. Conveniently located 15 min to Walmart and 15 min to Honey Creek Marina.

July 4th Trip to the Lake

Nice updated cabin with great views of the lake from the front deck and patio and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay! Great communication from the host. Easy access to the boat ramp and private dock. Would definitely book again!

The “Windy Weekend “

The trip was planned around fishing on grand Lake. However, the wind was so bad that fishing became a very difficult thing to do. The one thing that did save the trip and made it very enjoyable with my family was the cabin. It was very nice well kept very scenic in the area and provided what we needed at the time we stayed there. The host was very informative and kept in good contact with us, and we enjoy this day. Will probably do it again sometime down the road.

Excellent lodge on the lake

I stayed a weekend at this property with my brother and about 5 of his friends for his "bachelor party". It was a great place to chill, grill, have some drinks and relax! Fire pit, full of towels, cooking utensils, etc, everything you need! Clean, efficient, and comfy!

Wonderful Labor Day weekend at Grand Lake

It is a 4 star overall rating due to just a couple small things that I will communicate to the owner directly bc they are things I would expect happen with a rental over time. But overall we had such a great stay here. Erin, the owner, was fantastic to work with! She let us have an early check-in which ended up being a lifesaver. We planned to just drop off our groceries and hit the lake, but then it ended up rainy all afternoon so I am so grateful Erin let us check in early. We had fun grilling out, and cooking s'mores over the fire pit. The dock was really nice and we were able to keep our two boats there all weekend with plenty of trailer parking available in the drive It was a great weekend and we really all this property!

Family Vacation

Great house. There are two bedrooms and living room upstairs with deck and two bedrooms and eat in kitchen downstairs which opened up to a covered patio with chairs and firepit. Dock was just across the street. Kayak's and board games were a nice perk. Only note I would have is about the beds. There was a full over a queen bunk bed but the top bunk didn't have a rail which made me too nervous for my kids to sleep up top. They slept on the twin beds but they were a little small (not sure they are a regular twin size) tucked into what was probably originally a closet but they liked it. My four year old did fine but my 10 year old is a flopper and fell out of bed. The washer/dryer was also really nice to dry wet clothes from the lake. Overall, I think everyone had a great time and enjoyed the house.

Family Fun for All Ages

Great time was had by all. Gave 4/5 on cleanliness just because of refrigerator not being very clean when we checked in. Rest of house was great! Great outdoor seating, stocked kitchen with basics, dock with ladder, KAYAKS (a favorite), great host who responded quickly to questions. Had a wonderful family time!

Great weekend at the Lake!

Great place at the lake! The home is clean with plenty of room and tons of fun with patio, balcony, front yard, etc. Erin was a great host and we really enjoyed the private dock and the area of the lake where the house is located. Great lake getaway and will be back!

Quick getaway

The property was exactly as described, very easy access to the dock, great location on the lake for boating, close, but not too close to town, very friendly neighborhood, quiet evenings sitting by the fire roasting s’mores with the kids. We are already planning our next stay.. thank you for the great hospitality!
