The views from this house were amazing and well worth the drive up the mountain. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The best part though was how dog friendly it was. Places like this are hard to find. With the fenced in patio and enclosed deck as well as many pet extras our dogs were in heaven.

We had an incredible long weekend at Richmond Ridge. The views are absolutely stunning — we took sooooo many pictures and they just don't do it justice. It was also super dog‑friendly. They truly thought of everything, which made it easy and comfortable for our pups.The home is very remote, which we knew and wanted, but you should be prepared for about a 25‑minute drive into downtown Bryson City. The tradeoff is total peace, quiet, and those unbeatable ridge‑top views!We also loved that the Alarka waterfall trail was right in the neighborhood — a short hike with a pretty waterfall. Lots of bugs though, so don't forget the bug spray! The hot tub was great after a day out hiking!Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for views, privacy, and a dog‑friendly mountain escape.

Beautiful Cabin and location. Cleanliness and maintenance were a little off. But may have just been bad timing. Several cobwebs and main shower drain was clogged. Otherwise a wonderful trip!

Can not beat the views! The entire back of the house had a spectacular view of the mountains. Its quite the trek up the mountain, so if you fogot something it will not be a quick trip to the store..We got what we were looking for, secluded and comfortable..We did not want to leave! Dogs allowed and the house was very pet friendly with extras for our fur baby..We definitely wil stay here again!

Sometimes, we were inside a cloud, which was an altogether different experience (especially while sitting in the giant hot tub). The house was very spacious and brought a lot of the outside elements in. We’ll definitely be putting this on our list of favorite places to stay near the Smokies.

Mountain Top Hot Tub

The views from this place were amazing both inside the house and especially from the hot tub! Between the views of the sunset and the stars at night, just breathtaking. Well worth the long drive up the side of the mountain! House was great, very pet friendly. Thank you for a great stay!
