Welcome to Neahkahnie House — a beach getaway designed for family and friends to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of Manzanita. Freshly renovated in Spring 2025, this spacious home offers ocean views, generous indoor and outdoor living spaces, and a laid-back coastal vibe. The main level features an open-concept great room with comfortable seating and a cozy wood stove to unwind after a day of adventure. The fully equipped kitchen flows into a sunny dining area, and just outside, a roomy deck invites you to grill, dine, and enjoy the ocean air. Two main level bedrooms both have king beds, one with a private suite, and the other bedroom has a queen bed. Downstairs, the family/bunk room gives kids and teens their own space to hang out, with a TV, comfy seating, and flexible sleeping options. The downstairs layout suits multiple families or generations, and includes a full bathroom and laundry room. There’s room for everyone to feel at home. Set on a quiet, oversized lot just a few blocks from the beach, you'll enjoy peace and privacy while staying close to everything. A quick drive takes you to Manzanita’s shops, restaurants, and coffee spots, or up Neahkahnie Mountain for unforgettable coastal hikes. Great house - we stayed over the holidays, and did a lot of cooking, and the kitchen was awesome. Plenty of space for everyone, but still a cozy feel. Would recommend.

Really beautiful kitchen and cozy living rooms with lots of games and puzzles. Kitchen was well stocked to handle our large group which was so appreciated and somewhat rare in other vacation properties. Good, clean bed pillows and duvets. Plenty of towels. Please note there’s no access to the garage to store anything you may bring, and beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys are not provided (which was totally fine, we brought our own from Bend).

This beach house provided us a fun getaway at an amazing location. We loved the ease of access to the beach and cute town. The house was roomy and comfy.

Great location

Great location, but the check-in time is really late (5pm)! It made it very difficult for a one-night stay, especially with a toddler, so I would recommend staying longer than that to get your money's worth!

Beautiful house and location. Accurately described listing. Problems we had were lots of dirty laundry left at the house in the laundry room. Two light bulbs in the house were broken. Fire detecor flashed in master bedroom. 2 closet doors were broken and difficult to use. No outside garbage container to empty inside trash into. Bath tub drain didnt work properly so wouldn't hold water.

Nice stay

Place a close enough to the ocean for it to make a nice walk to get there and back. House is in good shape. Spent a lot of time out on the patio just enjoying the views. I would definitely put on the list to stay at again. We did have good communication with the company running the house as well for anything that we needed.

I loved the house! It was perfect for our taste. Games, close to beach, a rustic feel. It had a cabin in the woods feel but bigger. Boys loves the downstairs to themselves! At first I was worried about no TV upstairs but I came to learn that all the board games helped us connect so much more than if we had one and it was so fun! Probably 15 min walk to downtown but my 5 year old complains too much for me to, so I was glad that end part of the beach close to Neahkahnie was there close. A lot of spiders! But outside ones, we didn't use the BBQ, my son chose not to so I didn't catch if there was a problem but. For ppl with different expectations I would say, it's not a high tech fancy place, it's rustic but good size, short walk to beach, town, but far enough for a cabin in the woods private feel. No lots of TV and streaming so bring your own if you need that (Xbox or laptop) but enjoy the board games! We loved it!

Its was good for our one night stand but it needs more cleaning..

We did enjoy the little bit time we were their but for sure it needs to be more clean everything and change everything cause we could see all the durty and dust all over the house ... and you guys also need to repell more cause their were more insects inside the house ... and every room ... and the sheets were itchi .. you guys need to clean more often and actually clean the house before people rented out... just a suggestion but we had a good time after all .. thanks .. we will definitely go back their...

Great family getaway

Fairly quick access to the beach, but hardly a beach view. House had everything we needed; decently stocked kitchen, but kitchen could use an upgrade. There was a very distinct smell/odor throughout the house that despite opening windows, candles, air freshener, couldn’t be removed. No access to the garage which was a bummer. Would have been nice to put wet clothes and dirty kids from the beach in there first rather than take them through the main door and get floors dirty. Tv didn’t work and there weren’t any DVDs for the player. We brought a Roku which we were able to hook up, but otherwise didn’t work. Great space for two families (4 adults, 4 kids).

This place immediately disappointed us. We would have left,if it weren't for a family reunion.Others had places so superior to this for less money. They finally had the carpet cleaned(at day four of seven) yet foul smell continued from furniture; kitchen cupboards were gummy. The price was outrageous for the shotty accommodations. Management company was to see if any recompense was possible, this required repeated weekly calls, not once calling me w/updates. Ending with a pittance of refund after 3-4 weeks. Read the reviews! ..as I ought to have done more thoroughly!So very sad for anyone else to have to experience this.

Communication was a struggle, not clear instructions on house details like were you take the garbage if full, two dish tabs for four days and ten people, no hall light. That said it was a great house for my family, the kitchen and family room being open so all could be together and all eat at one table was the best and walkable to beach- thank you
