I can’t say enough good stuff about this cabin, location and stay! First the cabin was well stocked, clean and adorable. The location was secluded, quiet and well laid out. The location of house is perfect so close to restaurants, stores and coffee. Best place I’ve stayed in Broken Bow/ hochatown.

Location is great! It’s close enough to main things to do and eat but it’s far enough and secluded in the back you still feel like you are in a cabin in the woods.

Great place to stay!

What a great cabin! It had everything we needed and was super well equipped. Everything seemed to be in great condition. Check in could not have been easier. The Tesla charger was a perfect add on. We also appreciated all the bonfire wood collected and ready!

We stayed at this cabin in Hochatown this week and overall had a good experience, but there are a few things future guests should be aware of.Pros:The location is excellent, close to everything but still feels very private and peaceful. The cabin itself is well-stocked, especially the kitchen, which made cooking meals easy and convenient.Cons:Communication could definitely be improved. There was no hospitality book or guide with basic information or housekeeping instructions, which made things unnecessarily difficult. For example, it took us three days just to figure out how to turn on the vent/light over the stove.We also ran into a few maintenance issues. The remote controls had dead batteries, and the fire alarms went off randomly. To their credit, management responded quickly and came out to fix those issues. The hot tub was green and dirty when we arrived, but again, they addressed it promptly once we notified them.A couple of other notes: firewood was extremely expensive, so you may want to plan ahead, and the washing machine was not clean upon arrival, so I ended up cleaning it myself before use.Overall:This cabin has a lot of potential thanks to its location and privacy, but better communication and more attention to detail with maintenance and cleanliness would really improve the guest experience.

Beautiful Place

Me and some friend decided to stay here at the Hocha Hideaway and it was perfect. Beautiful house with an awesome back deck and neat fireplace area. Super quiet and peaceful. I think our entire group wants to reserve the same place for next years trip. The house is also at the very end of the road and hidden out of view which we loved. And it was less than 10 minutes to just about anywhere to eat or activities to do. Definitely want to return next year. The owner and the cleaning staff were also incredibly kind anytime we interacted with them. 5 star recommend.

Perfect cabin for a quick vacation

My husband and I stayed here with our 6 year old and our dog for a perfect, relaxing vacation. The location is great at the end of the road so we didn't have cars driving past constantly, though we could occasionally hear kids at the cabins nearby. The drive down to the state park and lake is only about 15-20 minutes. The cabin itself is gorgeous- simple decor, nice finishes, and clean. The beds were super comfortable, and little touches like the wireless charging pads next to the beds were appreciated. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I also appreciated that there were no overwhelming smells from cleaning products or air fresheners. Check in was simple and the host was easy to reach when we couldn't figure out the hot tub. The only thing I wish there had been is a guest book of some sort with the nearby attractions and phone numbers/websites so that it was easier to plan out our days. We would be happy to stay here again.
