Ski Weekend

The property was perfect for our stay for a long weekend with some friends. We loved the proximity to town and thought the living room was very cozy for game nights and dinners at the house.

Gorgeous views and cozy place!

Our stay was amazing had great views and very cozy place with real fire place and comfortable couch. Only reason I did not give a 5 star is the beds are very hard and uncomfortable and very difficult to get up on the tall bed in the bunk room. Otherwise awesome place.

Once of the nicer condos I have stayed via VRBO. Kitchen has everything. TVs in every room. Has a washer and dryer. Even has a decent view off the deck. Would stay again.

Excellent experience

The owner was quick to respond and the property was fantastic. It's clear that the owner put a lot of thought and time into making this property user friendly (lots of books, games, movies, etc.); for example, a propane heater for sitting on the deck in cooler weather. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

It was a decent place and did the job for the 2 nights we stayed...has a beautiful view. The bed in room 2 was way too high and firm. The floor in that room isn't level and i felt that i was sleeping that way. The pictures aren't updated and they have some new furniture. Main issue was arriving to wet carpets. I had reached out to the contact lady about arriving an hour early and she did inform me they had to clean the carpet. We ended up finding an activity to keep us busy and arrived on time but the carpets were still wet with no circulation going. She informed me where the fans were and asked if we could walk around in socks until they dried. So fans blasting and wet socks wasn't quite what we expected to arrive to but we made the most of it.

We’ve followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We recently updated the furniture in the home and also added a king-size bed in the primary bedroom to enhance guest comfort.- The bed in the second room is elevated by design to allow for storage space underneath, and this is reflected in the listing photos.- The previous guest left significant carpet stains, so we made the decision to have the carpets professionally cleaned before your arrival.- We were hopeful they would be fully dry in time, but unfortunately, they were still damp. We advised on fan placement and asked for temporary care with walking to help speed up the drying process and maintain cleanliness.- We appreciate your flexibility and understanding, and we’ll continue working to better time cleanings to avoid this inconvenience in the future.Thank you again for sharing your experience. Your feedback helps us improve the stay for future guests.

Pretty view!

I enjoyed my stay! The only issue I had was the last night I accidentally punched in the wrong code to the door and it still unlocked. 😱 My friend I came to visit said it was a super low crime area but still a little scary that anyone could have walked in. Might be time for a new door pad! I really liked how there were some card games already there, and the view from the patio was beautiful! We spent a lot of time out there. Thank you!

Great condo in Frisco!

This was a great place for my friends and I to crash over the weekend. We loved the location, the cleanliness, and the cozy feeling of the condo. We also really enjoyed using the wood-burning fireplace :)

Great little apartment

Great little apartment for 1 family. One downside: the heating was baseboard hearing and we have glove dryers that require central air. Oh, and the garbage disposal makes it sound like an airliner is taking off. Other than that, a fantastic little place for a single family.

We stayed for two nights for a ski trip. It was perfect. The beds were so comfortable. We saw a mamma and baby loose early in the morning.

Not Cleaned before we got there

Property was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Tried contacting owner of property, but never called us back. Had to clean condo ourselves and put new sheets on beds. Not worth the money!

Great location in silverthorne. Tons of games and tech to keep kids entertained while adults are hanging out. A smaller and older space but overall, good value for money.

Great Location to several ski areas near by

Really enjoyed this condo for its location to access the Epic Ski hills as well as Dillon/Silverthorne stores. Many elements were great but some improvement could go a long way. Note, I stayed a month so had time to be a bit critical. Listing was accurate and found Parking great, kitchen very functional, small BBQ awesome, Views quite good, TV/internet great but not a fan of beds and living room furniture. Memory Foam toppers just not my preferred style for comfort and Futon couch created function for an extra bed but not comfort. Do recommend but with the above notes for any longer stays. Thanks!

Great location for trail access

This was a great spot. My wife and I stayed for a month. At times we had three people working remotely and never had trouble with WiFi availability / speed. Several trailheads less than a mile away, plus a paved walking path right out the front door. Easy access to all places and things Summit Co. Quick communication with Property Manager / Owner. There are no fans in this apartment, ceiling or otherwise. So, if you like air movement - bring your own! We bought an inexpensive one at Target just down the hill and all was good.

Beautiful stay in the beautiful mountains of Silverthorne

Excellent property. We loved it so much, they thought of everything to make it "homey", even the little things like hooks to hang jackets, games and videos. LOVED IT and highly recommend it. Great location, so convenient to tons and tons of hiking (and skiing of course)

Good views and location

Met our family needs and affordable price with the views it comes with. Place was kinda dusty with some dirty surfaces. Ie dining table and chairs. So we had to clean that when we first came in. Other than that, bed sheets and towels were clean. The condo accommodated our family of five.

Excellent except for 1 Very Big Fail

I so want to give this condo a 5 star rating... My wife and I spent 10 days with our adult son and 2 friends visiting for 3 nights and the unit itself, location, views,etc. were perfect for us, with the exception of the master bed! The master queen bed was lumpy and hard... It is a 1" mattress topper on top of a 2" foam pad on top of a sheet of plywood... One of the most important features required in a rental is a comfortable mattress offering a good night sleep... Since when is a piece of foam on top of a wood base acceptable? I've had better nights camping!! I'm happy overlooking dated furniture as long as it's comfortable, but not the other way around. Were it not for the master bed this would be a 5 star review.

Hi Robert, sorry to hear the firm bed was so disruptive. We will take that into consideration and look at replacing. This has been a family condo foe the past 14 years and my parents preferred a firm bed but understand it’s not for everyone.

A slice of heaven!!

After being in "lockdown" mode for months, we wanted to escape the Texas heat and come to Summit County for a month -- we figured rather than "work-from-home," we could "work-from-mountainside." The Ingles' "Mountain House" was definitely a great escape and gave us a much-needed respite. The condo itself is wonderful -- fully-stocked kitchen, spacious rooms, washer/dryer, wi-fi, books, games, and more. The view from the deck is spectacular -- I think we sat outside as often as we sat inside. :-) Nestled in the shadow of Buffalo Mountain, the condo is minutes away from Silverthorne, Dillon, and Frisco. We took advantage of the easy access to miles of trails and we hiked nearly every day in the Lake Dillon area. We love love love this little corner of the world, and we're super grateful to Brett and Lisa (who were great to work with!) that we could make their home-away-from-home our home-away-from-home for a month. We can't wait to come back!

Nice Condo with beautiful view.

We enjoyed our week long stay. Nice and quiet condo, with a good layout of rooms and kitchen. Large kitchen table with well stocked kitchen. Easy access from parking area. Dishwasher, and washer/dryer a nice bonus. Owner easy to reach and communicate with.

Snowboarding trip with the boys

The "Mountain House" became a "Mountain Home" to rest after each day's outing. What a great place to chillax after a day of snowboarding, snowshoeing or skating at Woodward!!! The condo had everything we needed and more. The fireplace and the laundry room were unexpected pluses, that I had not picked up on the rental description. Thank you very much Brett and Lisa!
