This Village Monache 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom located in the heart of the Village provides prime access to the Canyon Lodge/Village Gondola and outstanding hotel amenities. Overlooking the pool, you can enjoy Mountain view on one of two balconies and watch the Gondola go by, and even bring Fido as this condo is also pet-friendly! Relax in the spacious living area next to the cozy gas fireplace and enjoy the large flatscreen TV, cook and entertain in the fully stocked kitchen or take advantage of the many amenities located on grounds including year-round heated pool, jacuzzi, fitness room, ski locker, 24/7 marketplace, and underground heated garage parking. The master bedroom features a King bed with Heavenly mattress, flatscreen TV and access to your own private balcony. A spacious en-suite bathroom with both soaking tub and walk-in shower, and large vanity. The second bedroom also features a King bed with a Heavenly mattress and access to the private balcony (which is also accessible from the living room), flatscreen TV. This bedroom also has an en-suite with tiled walk-in shower. The living room has a sofa bed for extra overnight guests, and a separate dining space that seats 6. The full kitchen offers all major appliances including a double door fridge making it easy to prepare meals for the family. The unit is fully stocked with everything you would need, including games, and the hotel offers a laundry room. It is located just a stones throw away from the Village gondola or shuttle stop, providing the ultimate convenience for Winter, or Summer, mountain access! The Village Monache is a one of a kind Mammoth experience for the traveler wanting a convenient, 5-star mountain getaway. Please Note: There is no access to the on-site Kids Club or in-room dining, but Mammoth Kids is across the street in the Village. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps a maximum of 6 people, comes with underground garage parking for one vehicle. Larger vehicles may not fit in the garage, clearance 7' 0" is non-smoking and pets are permitted. This is an accessible unit, is on the 3rd floor and is accessed via elevator. The underground parking is heated and offers electric vehicle charging stations. Our calendar is updated in real time. The interior was good. The doors to the balconies did not close securely. It was hard to find where the silverware was kept in the kitchen.

Proximity to the village and gondola were positives, as well as the venue being pet friendly. There were some issues with doors to the patios not being easy to open and master toilet not flushing consistently. Dining area was difficult to access due to cramped area and configuration of the table and chairs.

Mammoth ride vacation

Great location across the street from Mammoth Village. Wonderful views of mountains. Fantastic location to ride out and access road and gravel bike trails. Some construction noise in the area so bring some ear buds or a white noise machine if you are a light sleeper.

Close to Everything

Really enjoyed our stay. Roomy condo with many amenities. Great location. Westin staff was very helpful and very friendly. Still a lot of snow that prohibited any hiking north of the village. Would recommend checking out Hot Creek, just off 395, by the airport. Beautiful area with meandering creek and geothermal features.

Great stay!

Cannot beat the location with its proximity to the Village right across the street. Easy access to restaurants and shops - even more are located just a few minutes drive away. Enjoyed the two patios, especially for watching the snow fall! Even though patios are pool-facing, the unit is on an upper floor, people were very respectful and it was quiet after hours. Unit was very clean and felt spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Also enjoyed the fireplace. We loved our stay here and will definitely book this property again!

The location of the hotel was excellent. However, our stay was significantly impacted by the pool and jacuzzi being under construction. This resulted in a lack of access to these amenities and constant loud noise starting early in the morning, which also made our balcony unusable due to the noise and a persistent bad smell.While our unit was as expected, the furnishings are showing signs of significant wear. The pillows and couches were worn, and one of the pillows was completely ripped. For a hotel of Westin's quality, we also expected better than single-ply toilet paper.

The condo is in a great location and had two large balconies to allow us to appreciate the view. The spacious two master suites was an added bonus.

Great location and lovely hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the Westin. The apartment was nice enough and we loved having a big table for family dinners. The hotel amenities were really nice and the staff was as well. My only real critique is that driving to a separate office to pick up keys and parking permits was inconvenient. A few other notes — not actual critiques but just notes: the apartment didn’t have an oven mitt and the doors to the balconies are really REALLY hard to open.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the most part this unit was great! Location is perfect for Village and Gondola for skiing. Unit is clean and new, no pet smells. There were a couple perks that probably wouldn't have been an issue if this unit were managed by the Westin or an on-site manager. The master bath toilet and sink were very slow to flush and drain.....annoying, but not bad enough to go through the hassle of getting maintenance. There are 3 TVs in the unit, but each is on different system. Master bedroom has basic cable, 2nd bedroom didn't work when we arrived but after a maintenance call, we got it working with basic cable. The living room TV is only streaming enabled, no cable. This was an issue for us as we were there during the Super Bowl and couldn't get any network service until we had to purchase a streaming package. Not a deal breaker but super annoying considering how much we paid to stay there.

Great Mammoth Stay

Great location, comfortable beds and having a pool on hot days was nice. A big plus is having the ability to bring our dog along. We would stay here again.

Terrible kitchen and limited dishes/pans/flatware

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was not up to par and we paid roughly $600/night. The kitchen was sparsely equipped with scratched pans and very limited dishware/utensils. No where at all to place food. Trash cans were in the way of both the dishwasher and fridge. All space under sink occupied with bins/ cleaning supplies. There was a drawer in the master bedroom that would not stay closed and we needed to place a bag there to keep it closed and prevent from banging into it.
