Great place to stay to be near the amenities of Rotorua without being in the middle of a city. Lovely views of the lake and very peaceful. Great communication from the host. 100% recommend and would stay again.

I stayed in mid-July and found the property to be lovely and warm. The heat pump was more than sufficient to keep the home comfortable throughout my stay. Amazing place to stay

We had an absolutely fantastic stay, the location, outlook and presentation of the home was all beautiful. So close to Rotorua, Redwoods and activities. We loved our stay and would love to return again, horse riding, MTB and relaxing, amazing!

Communication was smooth, mostly all went as expected and as described. Nice views from the living. Very close to the beach. Would recommend to use Steep Street for getting in and out, as it can be quite a sharp turn

A quiet stay in Rotorua

We loved our stay. We watched beautiful sunrises every morning, and the location was a quick walk to the lake. The bed was super comfortable, and the gardens were well kept. Thank you for making our stay in Rotorua a lovely one.

Perfection!! This holiday house was perfect. It has the most beautiful view and was so peaceful. Its out of the hustle and bustle but not too far if you want to the do the touristy thing.

Appreciated the garage, especially for rainy times. Great layout for 2 guests with wonderful views. Two minor issues were that the oven/stove control dials were unreadable so we were not sure what temperatures were being set; and Kleenex tissues were not supplied. We would definitely recommend to others or return ourselves to this charming location!

Wonderful private house

We were only passing through for a quick night, but beautiful house with gorgeous flowers! Very clean with everything you could need. Great view of the lake. Awesome place!

Great house for 2 people, excellent location

Loved the place, has everything you need for a relaxing stay and more. Found the large garage very useful to keep the boat ready for an early morning fishing trip. We will be back for sure.

A lovely retreat

Millar's Hideaway is a super place! Clean, bright, surrounded by beautiful grounds and in a quiet neighborhood. Our neighborhood walks and the longer walks around the lake were both excellent.And while it's a mountain lake retreat home, it's also super convenient to Rotorua. Highly recommended!
