Had a wonderful stay for the weekend. It was a short trip, arrived very late but someone answered phone and helped get us into the condo. View from balcony was great and the beach was within walking distance. Very clean and beds were very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets.

Location to the beach was amazing. The condo was very nice. Too bad it rained most of the time, but we did get several hours of sunshine.

We had a pleasant stay. It was a rough start because according to our host the guest before us left the unit in rough shape but once we were able to check-in and note the damages everything went smooth after that.

Long weekend away

My only complaints are the lady downstairs, the heat register that had black soot on it unit probably needs a new filter and the pool is NOT heated like the original listing reported. The condo was close to everything, lots to do in Galveston. Easy entrance with gate code. Washer and dryer worked great.

Late Christmas family retreat

The location was great. We were across the street from the gulf and Walmart….win win! The condo was nice. There was plenty of space for the family. Negatives: we found a dead roach between our pillows on the bed in the main bedroom (too bad I cannot include a picture), the water pressure was horrible, the 2 drawers in the fridge are cracked, and the small balcony was cluttered with beach items.

Hi Adam, We appreciate that you thoroughly enjoyed the location and there was plenty of space for your visit.We have regular appointments and have not had any issues. In our climate, this is something that we have to deal with but we are diligent with pest control.We recently stayed at the home and did not experience any issues with water pressure. This could have been a community-wide issue and checked with the condominium manager and they have not had any other complaints.We are not aware of the drawers in the refrigerator being broken but we will check and if necessary will order replacements.We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Mother’s Day weekend

The only negative was the upstairs tenants. They were very loud from early morning until close to midnight, every night. Made it very had to get any sleep, which made for a not so pleasant weekend.

Ocean view does not mean ocean front view.

It was a nice and well stocked. It was clean. There are a set of stairs to climb to get to. The balcony was disappointing because the ocean view was past a parking lot, across the street, and was an angle side view. The patio furniture was not in very good condition. The chairs were wobbly and felt unsafe. The complex was gated and had monitored security.

Perfect Spot!

What an ideal setup! Great space for 2 couples and a family with all the odd & ends to make you feel at home. Some places we've stayed have been sparsely equipped but this has everything you can imagine in the kitchen and throughout the rest of the place. Even had Band-aids (which I would never expect anyone to have). Excellent place with ocean breezes galore! Could use an update to the patio furniture. Things on the gulf front take a beating with the salty air. Thanks for everything, including the welcome text messaging from Becca! Will definitely recomend this one to others. Thanks, Jon

We arrived late on the Sunday afternoon and were very warmly greeted by the new office lady. We couldn’t sort the parking pass (we really don’t see why this is needed, it is a gated community so only those with the code can park there) but we sorted it with the office the following day.The condo was as described, clean and well stocked. We liked how there were a few items in the kitchen cupboard such as oil, salt and pepper as this really helps when travelling.We liked how there were chairs etc left on the balcony to use, we bravely crossed the busy road to the beach which was fun. We did find the road rather tricky, yes we are from the UK but have lived in the US so are used to US road. We made sure to exit on the street with the traffic lights for safety.We loved the pool nearest the condo and for most of the week we had it to ourselves. Sadly at the weekend, some guests found it necessary to bring their music speakers to the pool, these should be band. They really spoilt our enjoyment of the pool which until then was so peaceful.We loved chatting to a resident one afternoon about where to go and eat etc, this was great as she sent us to the places the locals eat.We are glad to have visited Galveston beach and would certainly recommend this condo to others.

Excellent Property

This is a great property to stay in if you are visiting Galveston. The unit is much bigger in person, the owners have taken great care in making it very homey and inviting. It is well equipped with everything you need. We put on a small Thanksgiving Feast and everything we needed to prepare the meal was in the condo as far as pots and pans and dishes. The beds are comfortable, the view is amazing, it’s in a gated community so it’s safe, the pools are great and the location is awrsome. The owners even have a nice stash of beach chairs and beach toys to bring across the street and enjoy the beautiful beach. My only disappointment is the grumpy lady that lives downstairs and complains about people walking around. This is at no fault to the owners and does not reflect upon how nice this unit is. My advice, book the condo!!! You won’t be disappointed!! When the lady complains, enjoy the rental and just ignore it.

Great place

We were very please with the condo and complex. It was clean and neat. All dishes and cookware were avaliable. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked great. Pools were good, except the hot tub was broken up until our last full day there. Cons: for a 6 night/7day stay, needed more trash bags than 2. The washing machine was horribly off balance and practically 'walked' its way out of the laundy area during the spin cycle. The downstairs neighbor was a bit annoying, as we couldn't even walk across the room without getting a note on our door from her, telling us not to be running upstairs. Our granddaughters are 12 and 9, they know better and were NOT running. Probably will reconsider staying in this unit again because of her. We didn't pay $$$$ to have to walk on egg shells.

January mini getaway

When we originally booked the listing said heated pool and hot tub. Since we went in January we were looking forward to the heated pool with the kids… but there is not a heated pool. The notes about needing to be quiet for the people who live downstairs was also frustrating seeings how we went with two children. They were running around playing outside with friends and the downstairs tenant made sure to open the door and glare at them. The return vent in the master bedroom was full of black gunk I took a picture because it was so yucky. Definitely in need of a good vent cleaning. As others have stated the water pressure isn’t the greatest. Maybe it’s normal for there but not what we’re used to. The trip wasn’t horrible kids loved the pier and the beach but wouldn’t stay at this location again. Many of our friends had much better condo experiences.
