Bungo Beach House is as the name suggests, a great place to hang out at the beach!

Four bedrooms + a second living area which has a sofa bed. The house is fully equipped with all of life's modern conveniences. With reverse cycle air-conditioning for the warmer months and a wood fire place so you can enjoy our beach house all year around. Bungo Beach House is set-up to entertain for larger families including 3 x flat screen t.v's, Free WiFi, gaming consoles, games and activities for the kids. Don¿t forget the four legged kids, there is a large fully fenced secure yard.
As you pull up into the driveway you will straight away feel the sensation of being away from the City. The is an outdoor lounge on the front balcony with a bar style hand rail with stools to enjoy the morning sunrise overlook the water and town of Eden.
Enter through the front door and to the left you will find the main bathroom and 2x main queen bedrooms one with a flat screen Tv. To your Right you will find a cosy living area with plenty of seating, a second flat screen Tv and DVD player, the living area flows through to the dining room and kitchen area with a large dining table, full sized fridge/freezer and gas cooktop.
Towards the back of the house you will find the second living area equipped with plenty of seating areas, bean bags, a flat screen TV and gaming console, There is also the 2x single bedrooms that come off the second living area. The perfect area to keep the kids entertained. Towards the back of the house you will find the second bathroom and laundry. Open up the back doors out on to our large covered balcony and enjoy a BBQ on the deck with plenty of room for all.

You are welcome to bring your pets with you. Although we don't encourage you to leave your pets alone, Bungo Beach House boasts a fully fenced yard. Please note that you will need to bring bedding for your pets.

Very helpful hosts. Communication was really good. The house is lovely and has everything you could possibly need for a short or longer stay. Two bathrooms made the stay even more convenient. Great location close to beach and shops. Would definitely stay again.

Have stayed at Bungo Beach House a number of times now. Great location, clean and well set up house. Wouldn’t recommend small terrier type dogs being left in the yard unattended as it’s easy for an escape artist to find ways out, but larger or more chilled dogs would be fine.

We book Bungo Beach house every year for the same week. We love Eden and Bungo Beach house is perfect for our weekly sojourn. I pray nothing changes in the future, we look forward to our stay with relish. :)

Great spot, spacious & private

We had a few hiccups to start but considering it was Christmas with public holidays, I was really impressed with how quickly the owners handled any issues. The house is nice and big, bright and airy, comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms with a separate toilet. Great entertaining deck, which was wonderful for christmas day. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the front porch and having a chat with friendly neighbours as the strolled past. The house is set well back from the road and the back yard is HUGE. It was a pleasant walk to the beach, coffee shops & shopping centre. With our older children there, it was great having a second living area and so many options to spread out and for everyone to have time to themselves if needed. The only 2 negatives, that I feel must be mentioned, is the fact the yard is described as "boasting a fully fenced yard", this is inaccurate. While the yard has secure fencing from the house and down both sides, the back fence is chicken wire which is flimsily supported, and patched at one end with corrugated tin, that had fallen down when we were there. We managed to get it upright but it was down again when we left. We had our two medium sized dogs with us and fortunately they aren't inclined to run off, but this might not work for others. The other issue is the oven, which is very old and the door doesn't shut properly - we managed to keep it closed by leaving the grill door open which seemed to hold it shut. Again, we managed by using the BBQ mostly, and it certainly didn't ruin our holiday, but it might affect others. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it particularly for familys or large groups.

Enjoyed stay the only draw back was the toilet (only 1). If the bathroom was converted to a shower and toilet it was an ideal property . Clean except for the cobwebs around the ceiling. Overall we all enjoyed

Bungo not quite bingo

Older property lacking wardrobes, and only one toilet and a devoid back yard. Well appointed inside with two chill out areas. WiFi did not work (even after reported by text). Back table and BBQ cover dirty, although did note sign inside indicating risk of financial penalty if BBQ grill not cleaned by user (it was clean). Some Cushions off outdoor furniture were lying on deck/ ground and one may have had grease on it (probably result of wind). Property quiet, but isolated from town centre unless you like a walk home up a steep hill. No where near beach as the property name suggests. Not sure if value for money for children, but close for most. Would choose again.

Dog Safety

The stay was enjoyable, however what was described as a dog proof garden was far from the truth. Whilst the garden was large the fencing was(chicken Wire) and poorly maintained. There were a number of gaps in the wire and the fence had fallen over. It was neither high enough or safe to keep my medium sized well behaved dog in, the fence sagged with no support at all.

A perfect location for a weekend away!

Bungo Beach House made our weekend away even more amazing - we fell in love with the property on sight. It's exactly as described and pictured, this cozy home had all we needed and more for a quiet weekend away. Located close to the centre of Eden, we were able to visit local attractions and beaches with ease. There was plenty of room for our group of five, but could have comfortably fitted more. This rental is perfect for a family. Eden, and Bungo Beach House, are definitely the best kept secret on the NSW South Coast.
