Home truths
- There are flyscreens on some windows however if you leave doors and balcony doors open there will be insects that can come in.
- The third bedroom is small and has enough room for a double bed and bedside table.
- There isn't parking attached to the property. There is a chance of organising a parking permit, this isn't guaranteed and we will need to request permission with more than 7 days notice for the stay (extra cost). Another option is using apps such as parkhound to rent a private space from a nearby resident.

Fantastic staging point for a Sydney getaway!
Perfect location, great beds, premium view, fully equipped kitchen, easy-to-use appliances - it was absolutely the perfect place for me and my kids to make the most of our 8-day trip to Sydney from overseas. To boot, I had injured my knee on the way there, and there’s an elevator on the property - what luck!

Fabulous accommodation and location
We loved our stay, loved being in Balmain with shops cafes and great pubs. And so close to the ferry wharf, minutes to the city. The accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean. 5 stars from us.

The property was modern, clean and very livable.
Ferry connection to CBD Sydney was one block away. Bus stop to dining in Balmain and to CBD was at the doorstep.
Friendly shop with basic groceries and drinks (alcoholic and non) was next door.
Odd layout with sinks in the hallway outside the bathrooms.
Property is managed by an agency who use an app for communication which proved cumbersome.

Clean, bright and perfect for a few days in Sydney
We were coming in from overseas and had some delays and issues arriving in Australia. Our hosts were very gracious and helpful throughout our whole check-in process. The property was clean with everything we needed for several days in Sydney. Very close to the fairy and a grocery directly below the property. Beautiful views from the master bedroom of the Sydney bridge. A wonderful spot to explore Sydney while staying out of the busyness of a major metropolitan city. We loved the quaint neighborhoods and spent lots of times walking the streets and exploring our location. overall, 100% great property

A Beautiful Property with View of the Harbour Bridge
It’s a beautiful duplex apartment (first and second floors) with elevator access (from the ground floor to the first floor only). Everything is as pictured. Bus #442 stops right in front of the building and makes a loop to/from the famous Queen Victoria Building, passing through the busier part of the Darling Street (which is about 30-minute walk from the apartment, with a Woolworth supermarket and many restaurants). The Balmain East ferry terminal is just 5-minute walk DOWN-hill. Overall, it’s a very good choice for exploring Sydney. However, there are a few things to note:
1. The check-in process is very restrictive. Although the staff was nice, the managing company has many rules: check-in is 3pm to 5pm. Outside this short window, additional fee applies and if only available. Once you designate a time, additional fee is required to change time with a 45-minutes advanced notice. This put a lot of stress on travelers from outside the Sydney area. The incomprehension thing is there is a lockbox just outside the apartment for keys!
2. The apartment is lacking some minor things that will make a stay more comfortable: such as no toothbrush holders, no towel hanger near the vanity areas, not enough towel hanger and no hook or shelf in the bathrooms, and not enough horizontal space in the bedrooms to spread things around.
3. There are a couple of small but not obvious steps around the apartment that one can tripped easily.
