Condo de luxe 1BR à First Flight Retreat à Milepost 8. 5. "Nemo's Retreat" a un beau nouveau plancher de tuiles d'acajou partout. Ce condo fraîchement d��coré offre une vue sur le lever du soleil depuis le balcon privé en bord de mer, qui dispose d'une table de pub et de deux chaises. Idéalement situé près de l'accès à la plage, piscine et salle de fitness. Il y a un nouveau canapé bleu et des chaises dans le salon. Promenade de luxe dans la douche de tuile et la vanité de granit nouveau pour 2018. Il y a un nouveau canapé-lit queen dans le salon en plus de 1 chambre King. Wonderful! Beautiful!

This is a very nice condo! It is perfect for a couple getaway. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The beach is very nice and so easy to access. We enjoyed one afternoon by the pool. There are plenty of places to eat, shop, explore close by. The condo was very clean. We will consider this unit again, when in the area!

Great location

We loved the location but the condo needs some maintenance . Our bed was horrible. The mattress and boxspring is in desperate need of replacement. We will return in the future but only if the bed is replaced.

Thanks for your feedback. Based on your comments and others, the Owner has already decided to replace the king bed with a new Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress. Furthermore, the living room furniture is also getting replaced, so it will be much improved for 2016! We do hope you will give us another opportunity to show you why First Flight Retreat condos are the most popular vacation destination on the Outer Banks.

Great view

Winter quiet getaway during COVID. Everything worked and was as stated. Beautiful beach. Couch is not very comfortable due to years of service but clean.

Long weekend get away

My husband and I had not visited the Outerbank yet and chose a long off season weekend to explore. Kill Devil Hills was very convenient for short exploratory excursions north one day and south the next. The condo made visiting during COVID very safe. We had lots of take out options available. One note of caution, the code on the door changes before 10:00 am departure date and we almost locked ourselves out while loading up. We will recommend First Flight condos to our friends in the DC area.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a nice weekend in Kill Devil Hills at this one bedroom condo. We stayed in November, caught great weather. Condo felt clean and well taken care of. Right on the beach, easy access to local restaurants and activities. Would stay here again and would recommend!

Great view, poorly maintained and smokers abound

The good: Great view, nicely appointed kitchen, spacious living area with nice furnishings. The bad: a horribly sagging mattress, clogged shower drain, no water pressure (fixed within 24 hours), semi-functioning ice dispenser, pot-smoking neighbors in FFR114, chain-smoking neighbors directly above (there is a no-smoking policy), people with multiple barking dogs. We also had to clean/bleach the entire porch because the floor was full of sand and the furniture was caked with sand and black mildew. The guests should not have to do that. Would we stay here again. Not a chance.

Thanks for your feedback. The building is smoke-free, so we apologize for your inconvenience; if you had reported to us or the HOA management company appropriate action would have been taken. Based on your feedback, the condo owner is replacing the mattress for 2017. We do hope you give us another opportunity to show you why First Flight Retreat is one the most popular condo resorts on the Outer Banks.

This property was clean and maintained.

Great location! Excellent restaurants nearby (Port of Call, Kill Devil Grille, JK's, Barefoot Bernie's, Red Drum, Stack m Higher). Experiencing Hurricane Matthew was a first for us. We were disappointed that our week could not have been rescheduled so we made the decision to drive and take our chances. Unfortunately we were without power for 12 hours and unable to leave our condo due to flooding for 48 hours. It would have been a kind gesture for the rental company to offer some sort of refund due to the inconvenience of no power and not being able to get out to eat. If we return to the Outer Banks, we will definitely consider staying at First Flight Retreat.

Sticky furniture, fingerprint marks on furniture and cabinet doors, Lock broken on deck door, tub drain stuck reported to a recording (2x) in early eve. and then again later in evening, fixed next day. Trash in parking garage by parking spot ...Not removed the entire week. WOW

We really enjoyed staying at this property because of the great view of the ocean and the accessibility to the beach. The unit was modern and very clean. The unit would have gotten a 5 star rating, but we were disappointed that in the bathroom 3 bulbs were burned out and the TV in the bed room did not work. These things were corrected in a timely manner. The TV in the bedroom is very small, about 19 inches. I would expect a larger TV in the bedroom in a property of this caliber.

Great Beach Location

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The beach front property had a nice view and the property appeared to be newly updated and well maintained. The only thing that we found to be a slight issue was this condo is located right next to the boardwalk out to the beach. The door leading out to the beach is right next to this unit and slammed shut often, especially on windy days. We got use to this noise. Other than small issue we had a really wonderful stay and would certainly come back to this property again.

A Great Place to Unwind

It was very easy to make reservations and follow up e-mails were helpful when planning our stay. The one bedroom condo was well maintained and clean. The furnishings were extremely comfortable. The ocean view was wonderful as were the sunrises. This is a great location for enjoying the beach, taking walks or shopping.

Beach Bliss

This condo is first class. Out the door and you are on a beautiful beach or lounging at the pool. Center stage to restaurants, shopping, fishing piers. Could not have found a better spot to relax for the week. My husband and I and our dog Lacey can't wait to come back. Thank you for making our vacation so easy and the weather could not have been more perfect.

The view, the view, the view. Need I say more?

What a beautiful condo! In addition to having all the amenities needed to cook great meals and have a wonderful stay, simply opening the sliding door and listening to the sounds of the ocean was enough for me to book my return trip - WHILE I WAS STILL AT FIRST FLIGHT RETREAT! I'd give this place 6 stars if possible. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for? The staff at the rental company was extremely helpful and responsive. My unit was clean upon my arrival, and I enjoyed my week at the beach to the fullest!
