We only had a short stay for two nights. The house is adorable. It was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were soft. The kitchen is stocked nicely with pretty stoneware dishes. We stayed there, so we would be close to the trail system. That was very convenient. The view from the front porch is very nice. We had a great stay. The owners were very communicative with instructions, and that made the process of getting in and out very easy.

This was an extremely well kept and comfortable house. The surrounding neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and since I was there primarily for a fishing trip to New River, the location could not have been better. The only glitch was that we had an initial problem establishing an internet connection, I texted back and forth with Matt, and this was solved in about 10 minutes.Altogether it was a great week!

We loved our stay and the host is exemplary in his communication. The home is historic and has a warm comforting feel with a front porch that had amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Everything was clearly outlined and accessible within the home. And we enjoyed our peaceful and relaxing stay.

We loved our stay. We logged over 90 miles on the New River Bike Trail. The house was a perfect location for our adventures. The house is extremely organized. It is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It has the best washer and dryer I have ever used. It reminded me of my Grandma's house back in the day. The renovations are amazing. Thanks for sharing this home!!!!

Fall leaf trip

Stayed in June/July 2024 immediately booked for a fall trip. Cute little house, great views, and very responsive property managers. Highly recommend and hopefully will enjoy staying again in the future.

Excellent Place!

What a wonderful place. We sat on the front porch in the afternoon and could here the new river dam. The kitchen was very well outfitted with all the utensils we needed and the place was very clean.

Making memories

The relaxation on the front porch and listening to the water was amazing. We were blessed to see a beautiful rainbow. The home had everything we needed and more.

Otterly beautiful

Rented for my 78 and 76 parents and they loved it. Mom enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch listening to the river below and seeing the dam and water.
