Rock Bungalow Country Getaway Near Noosa

Welcome to "The Eumundian” - a freestanding rock bungalow with valley views. On 2.5 acres, you are free to explore the back island paddock, seasonal creek and rainforest. The self contained space has a private covered terrace plus a sun filled courtyard area. Adjacent to our main house, the bungalow has been designed for your privacy. Walk 2 km to Eumundi or drive 20 minutes to Noosa beaches and restaurants.
The space
The Rock Bungalow is the perfect place to escape, relax and unwind.

LIVING
The main living space is open plan with stacker doors, TV with Netflix, ceiling fan, aircon, kitchenette, microwave, electric cooker, pod coffee machine and dishwasher. The stacker doors and windows are privacy tinted from the outside.

BEDROOM
Relax in the bedroom with queen bed - with views down the valley to the creek, rainforest and paddock.

BATHROOM
The retro 80”s bathroom blends the original 80's shower tiles and vanity we adore with modern pink Terazzo tiles, brand new toilet and shower screen ( small vanity and compact shower cubicle.

TERRACE
There is a fully enclosed covered terrace shielded by huge double barn doors.
There is a back entertaining courtyard with private access. Umbrella provided on request.

2.5 ACRES WITH OUR DOGS
Guests are welcome to explore the 2.5 acre property with its gentle slope, creek, rainforest and completely private paddock island - we can provide a picnic blanket, basket on request.
Guest access
Guests enjoy private use of the entire bungalow, terrace and back courtyard.
The view down to the rainforest is beautiful.They are free to explore our 2.5 acres with our three border collies on site.
2 adults + can sleep on the fold out sofa bed.
Other things to note
The Bungalow is newly renovated so some earthworks are new on the hill ( grass regrowing there ).
Waterway Note - there is an unfenced seasonal dam creek at the foot of the hill, young children need supervision
No other dogs allowed because our friendly Border Collies are on site. They love a stick, ball or pat. They are market regulars and great with people. You are welcome to play with them in the gardens or terraces but please don't invite them inside the Bungalow ( they might swim in the dam and jump into bed with you ).
The bungalow is newly renovated with an original 80”s building
We have set it up with your privacy in mind.

This vacation home is located in Eumundi, a neighborhood in Sunshine Coast, and is in a rural area. Noosa Botanic Gardens and Ginger Factory are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Hastings Street and Eumundi Market. The Ginger Factory and Wappa Falls Astronomical Observatory are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Ever Felt Sad to be Going Home?
Both me and my little boy (6yo) were so sad to say goodbye to our little break away at the Rock Bungalow. So much was so good about it. Giselle is an awesome host right from booking through to when we left. We both felt so very welcomed the moment we set foot in the bungalow. Have I mentioned how clean it is? Easily the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. So much attention to detail, everything beautifully compliments the space and feels homely. Giselle is clearly an awesome designer with a sense of empathy and an ability to see what a guest might want from a stay at the bungalow. Then there's the doggos! What a delight they were. I have a little boy who has spent his life being scared of any dog, but by the end of our stay he was giving Ringo, Bo and Yoko commands and playing with them. Giselle so very kindly gave of her time to make Benjy feel relaxed and welcomed and to show him the great nature of the dogs too. I never forget people who are that kind to my boy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. But I also want to keep it my little secret place, so don't go booking all the days out haha!

Beautiful bungalow - loved the styling
Lovely bungalow in a beautiful setting. Loved the style of the bathroom and kitchen. Great location and super close to the Eumundi Markets. The owner was a great communicator and really responsive to any queries I had. I only wish I had been able to stay longer.

Eumundi mini-break
This is just a lovely little mini-home with everything you need for a few days exploring the Noosa hinterland. Within walking/jogging distance of Eumundi. Having lived in Europe, we loved it for the European vibe in the exterior style and interior decor and fixtures. Eat outdoors on one of two terraces and enjoy the lush back garden views and birdsong.

Cottage Stay in Eumundi
Lovely peaceful property, newly & tastefully renovated and recently added to short stays. Owners are lovely. And the dogs are friendly. Overall the cottage is perfect for a couple, we had a third person with us who slept couch which was a sofa bed and space was ok. What i found the property needed was flyscreens & flyscreen doors as there are none. and it can be quite hot at night. If windows and doors are left open bugs and mozzies come inside fast. Also, the bathroom needs storage shelves as there are none and if you are a large person you will not fit in the tiny shower.

The house is pretty unique- the bungalow and house are built from locally quarried rocks in the late 70”s.
We love the character and the birds are amazing
