The view from this room was AMAZING! The beds are super comfortable, room was clean, and check in was a breeze! Would recommend to anyone staying in the Gadsden area!

Plumbing Issues

The unit had plumbing issues from both the toilet and shower from when I checked in to when I checked out, I do not recommend.

Hi Ahjai, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We strive to make sure that our guests have an exceptional experience with us and uphold high standards of hospitality. - We value the condition of the home and recognize the importance of ensuring all fixtures and appliances are in working order. Once we were notified of the plumbing issues, we dispatched maintenance to the property that same night to resolve the issue and visited the next morning to repair the part in the toilet. After that repair, we did not receive any further contact from you. - While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own. We were disappointed to discover the home left in disarray causing an extra cleaning team. We truly work hard to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!

The listing of this place leaves out the fact that this is also a long term living facility for most of the building, & not just for business or vacation clients. What comes along with that fact, doesn’t need an explanation of the illegal activity taking place. I personally will never stay here again. Very old building, not well maintained or clean, gnats everywhere, (because people live full time there), & no full time staff. I checked out early, because I couldn’t stay another night there. Once home, I texted the host about all of the issues, her reply was “too bad, we don’t refund anyone” & told me I was rude when describing my issues about this place. I’ve been with VRBO for many years, & never once have I filed one complaint or requested a refund, nor have I receive one complaint. She then proceeded in that private message to threaten me with a bad report to VRBO, which was going to be a lie, only because I was truthful about this place, & requested a one day/night refund. These property management teams who don’t live at or around some of these listings should listen to the guest who do stay at their facilities, because we see firsthand what is taking place, & we should not threatened when we voice our concerns or file a complaint about our stay.
