Great family fun house

Has family ranging from two to 75 everyone enjoyed this house. Tons of fun things to do and located close to central Truckee.

This is a spacious, newer property that's close to the many Truckee golf courses. We didn't cook but the kitchen appears to be well stocked. The BBQ also looks good, though we didn't use it. Sometimes two story mountain homes can feel cold but this home seemed to be well insulated. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood quiet.Two things to note. The home has many TVs but no cable service so you need to bring your own streaming service access. We wanted to watch Monday Night Football and couldn't get it on the apps that were on the TV. (The Sunday Night football game we watched using one of the TV apps.). But once we figured out how to stream my YouTube TV subscription from my iPhone to the smart TV it was fine.When we arrived in the late afternoon the house hadn't been cleaned. Unfortunately the cleaning service could not get to the home until the next day. Because the prior occupant was pretty neat we were able to clean most of the house well enough to be comfortable spending the night. The cleaners came the next morning and cleaned up fully. These mistakes happen; this isn't the first time I've rented a VRBO that wasn't cleaned. Fortunately the owner was reachable on a Sunday evening. He was apologetic, communicated well, and made it good.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful cabin in Truckee! Place was more amazing than it’s pictures. Clean and had all the amenities needed. Lots of games and entertainment for the little ones. Wish we could have spent more time, but we will be back.

Nice stay for 2 weekends

We stayed at this house twice and liked it both times. It is brand new house with all amenities you would need. My son loved the keyboard and the gaming table. The house is very clean and centrally located close to the Palisades, Northstar and sugar bowl. We will be back in the future. Thank you!

Awesome newly constructed home

We stayed for at Pine Cone Place for an extended work project and it was pretty much perfect! Great location, close to town, beautiful neighborhood. Th house is pure functionality. Radiant heating throughout, even the garage, meant we were never cold. The kitchen was a dream. I’ve never stayed in a rental with such an equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfy, bathrooms well stocked. The property manager was so thoughtful and responsive to our inquiries! Rent this place if they ever have an opening!

The property is as advertised

Great house and location. The property is beautiful and clean. The steam shower is a nice perk. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you could need, including spices. Our overall stay was very nice. My only complaint is after spending $1100 on a house for 3 nights (including a cleaning fee), I did feel having us strip the beds, gather all the towels, start laundry, and the dishes, plus trash, felt a little much for the end of my vacation. I understand the dishes and trash, but stripping the beds did take away from our relaxing end.

Pine Cone Place was amazing! It had everything we needed and was incredibly organized and well appointed. The charging station in the garage was a bonus! The home is situated in a peaceful neighborhood and a very close drive to all kinds of amazing things to do, experience and eat. Only issue was that we couldn’t get the oven to work, which wasn’t an emergency since we BBQ’d and then ate out the next day. I emailed the property company to let them know. I’m sure if I called it would have been resolved. I look forward to staying here again the next time I’m in Truckee.
