We stayed here for a few months while our was being fixed. Kim was hospitable and friendly.The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed.. Our little dog loved it and made friends with Kims dog. Lovely seeing the wallabies in the natural surroundings.

Lovely quiet location

We stayed here with our 2 small dogs. It was perfect for us and was easily accessible in a nice quiet location. The dogs had a nice clean small, safe yard to play in. Plenty of room inside, lovely bathrooms and bedrooms

Great position, in hinterland nature.

Good property owner very helpful, bedding needs upgrading, the Air B & B needs reverse cycle air conditioning installed. Still enjoyed our stay, and was close to shops, beach, supermarkets, and our family at Broadbeach QLD.

Thank you for alerting me to the bedding Peter. You were quite correct. It required updating. It now has a memory foam topper, celliant recovery mattress protector and cloud pillows I’m amazed by the new technology. Hopefully That new technology can fit aircon in the apartment. I’ve been trying for 20 years. Upstairs is fully ducted and I wanted my teenage children downstairs!! If it could have been done believe me I would have done it. You have however renewed my interest to look into it again. It’s only a matter of time . That time just may be now. Regards Kim

Beautiful location overlooking Gold Coast hinterland, amazing sunrise, lovely comfortable and clean accommodation, breakfast provided by Kim which was very thoughtful. Communication with Kim re directions and access to the property was very organised and detailed. We really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is not as advertised, being part of the main house and with access via the main house garden and deck area only. The outside area was fenced off giving no access to the gardens. The view shown is from the main house and not the apartment section. The fit out is tired and in need of a refresh.

I’m sorry you don’t understand what an apartment is Christine As the accomodation was correctly advertised. The fence around the apartment is for containing pets. It is not for limiting access. I’m sure you knew that. I observed you and your party wandering around the garden. You were quite noisy. I could not help noticing as I had sought refuge in the rear of the house.

Short stay

Short stay. The photo advertisement is taken at night and I expected to see that view however that is the view from the main house. Grounds unkept. Also accom for 5th person is not in a study (no door) as stated. You will find reviews that talk about breakfast supplies. There were no such accomodations. Also access is down several flights of stairs, therefore not ‘accessible’.

Hello Helen Thank you for your feedback. The accomodation is listed as 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 bathrooms. The 3rd bed is at the end of a corridor with a privacy screen and is intended for flexibility to accomodate families that have teenagers who don’t want to share a bed which saves someone sleeping on the couch, maybe a 3 bedroom property would have been more suitable for your needs. Whilst the property does have stairs it’s accessible to able bodied people with many guests in there 70s or 80s have not had any issues with the stair case which is shorter than a double story house. The property is NOT advertised as wheel chair accessible but can appreciate if you have a disability that would be an issue and would have been happy to discuss whether the property was suitable if you inquired. We do host a lot of overseas guests whom may have a long flight so I do ask them if they need any groceries as part of the service to help them settle in. Safe travels
