Welcome to our charming garden retreat!

This cozy cottage is thoughtfully separated from the main property, boasting its own private entrance for a completely self-contained experience. The space exudes a delightful cottage ambiance with beautiful gardens and a grassy area. There is no off street parking, often parks right out front

It's just a 5-minute stroll to Mermaid Beach, Woolworths, bottle shop, & an array of inviting cafes and restaurants.

Suits - two couples; a couple with one or two children; or a private getaway for two.
The space
The living area is spaceous and opens up to a northern garden and alfresco eating area, Kitchen is fully set up with full size fridge, oven and stove, dishwasher and microwave and washing machine.
TV is free to air and chrome giving you Netflix ,ABC IView and 7+
Both bedrooms have wardrobes.
Guest access
This cottage is fully self contained, private with its own entrance. There is a locked box for key access.

Very cute cottage. Private and quiet as it’s away from the road. Nicely decorated. Host is responsive and friendly. It’s a wonderful location central and walkable to shops and beach. Close to many places of interest. Host has left lots of helpful information. We enjoyed our stay with our puppies.

The cottage was very cozy, and everything we needed was there. Close to the shops, the beach etc... We enjoyed the patio where we could have fresh air. Maybe the owner could take care of the garden and rearrange the pots plants . Really needed!

Excellant venue, meet all my requirements, walking distance to beach and shops and short driving distances to my requirements. Woukd highly recommend. Hosts friendly and most helpful. Would recommend.

My stay at the cozy cottage was absolutely delightful. The location couldn't have been better - just a short walk from the beach, which made morning strolls and sunset views incredibly convenient. The cottage itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere that truly felt like a home away from home. One of the standout features for me was the pet-friendly aspect. Being able to bring my fur baby along made the trip even more enjoyable. The cottage had all the necessary amenities for both humans and pets, including a comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, and a fenced yard for my fur baby to roam around safely. Overall, I can't recommend this cozy cottage enough for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to the beach, especially if you're traveling with pets. I'll definitely be returning for another relaxing getaway in the future.

The worst experience EVER

The experience we had was out of this world. Never before had we seen a holiday unit that filthy. Upon opening the door (that was stuck and it took us at least 5min to unlock it) the musky smell of mould just hit us. As soon as we entered, we then noticed everything was absolutely disgusting. The fridge was mouldy and dirty, all cutlery, plates and glasses very dirty and stained, floor was not mopped, spiders and cobwebs EVERYWHERE. But the winner was in the bathroom. The shower screen was covered in soap scum and even better, the bathroom floor had urine stains by the toilet that had NOT been cleaned and mopped from previous guests. We have been denied a refund by the host and we had to report them to STAYZ. Still waiting to be reimbursed

Ewa arrived during a deluge of rain set in for the weekend I wouldn’t be happy either to be booked into a beach cottage for that weekend. But I wouldn’t elaborate minor issues to try to get my money back. She is not entitled to a refund… If a guest arrives and there are things wrong , its stated in the check in details to contact the host so that things can be rectified asap. Obviously she did not want things to be rectified . After the 2pm check in time I messaged through the message thread to ask if she checked in and everything OK – no reply She left the property then decided to contact the platform agent to complain and then she emailed me with the complaints and asked for her money back. Although I don’t have to I have offered 50% refund but she has refused this offer. The platform will not be refunding their commission and booking fees because she is not entitled to a refund from anyone.

Could be our worst stay- Look elsewhere!

The property was a disappointment and did not meet our expectations for the price.It was doubtful the house had been cleaned prior to our arrival. The overall cleanliness was subpar—dishes and shelves were coated with grease and scum, and there were stains throughout. The sofa was in poor condition (best not to look under the cover). The kitchen was inadequately equipped, with limited utensils, cutlery, and dishware, while the appliances, including a rusted washing machine, appeared outdated and worn.The house and grounds were overall tired and unkempt. Cleaning supplies like mops were left out, the grass was overgrown, and beach towels were drying on the line, leaving us uncertain if they had been washed. Adding to the discomfort, dogs in the main house barked persistently throughout our stay, with the noise carrying through the wall and fence, disrupting the atmosphere.For the nightly rate charged, we expected better—a clean, welcoming property with basic comforts and home essentials. Unfortunately, this property fell short on multiple levels.On a positive note, the location is convenient, with shops nearby and the beach within a 10-15 minute walk. However, I cannot recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.We will be lodging a formal complaint with Stayz, supported by photo evidence, to ensure these issues are addressed.

Dear Reader, This man sent this long email 5 days after he left the accommodation and now wants his money back... scam? he didn't once answer my usual welcome email or the message includeed in the check in details asking guests to message if there are any issues. so they can be addressed asap 7 days with no complaints or messaging - very strange
