Our stay at Larks Rise was a lovely escape from the every day, from the booking process through to handing back the keys the stay was a joy. Jackie's communication was fantastic and the accomodation was delightful , spotlessly clean and supplying everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. Thank you Jackie.

Private outlook over treetops close to hosts house but not a problem, very quite. Lots of birds clean and comfortable with everything we needed.Would stay again with visiting Gold Coast.

The host was very friendly and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in a well equipped house with gorgeous bushland surroundings. We particularly loved sitting on the balcony for meals and family games while soaking in the delightful scenery.

Our stay was great. The house was pristine. Jackie is amazing - very accommodating and very pet friendly. There is an enclosed paddock on the property where the dogs can have a run around. Our dog loved this area. She could not wait to get down there to have a play.

Relaxing Stay

We had a really lovely family break at Lark Rise. It has a scenic outlook and it was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast... but close enough to easily visit some of the attractions. A highlight for my kids was feeding Jackie's goats.

Jackie and Paul were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Great communication. The little welcome gifts for ourselves and the dogs were appreciated. The accommodation was sparkling clean, and all the little extras in stock made our stay a very relaxing one. The paddock was great for the dogs. Couldn't ask for anything else to be added to this accommodation.Thankyou for sharing your peaceful retreat with us all.

Clean and quiet place with pretty much all the necessary amenities to enjoy a stay in the area, doing nearby hikes and other activities and relax at the end of the day

It was exactly what we needed for our stay with our furbabies - one of which was recovering from surgery. We couldn't fault the place. Totally recommend.

Well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge/dining, welcoming host. Would have liked better choice of pillows & a top sheet on beds as doonas too heavy were our only wishes.

Thank you for your comments. There are spare sheets available in each room for use by guests to enable them to have a choice of an extra/alternative layer on the beds. We also ask guests to let us know if there’s anything they need during their stay so are always open to dealing with any such requests if asked.

Touch of paradise

Beautiful setting in the rainforest. Wild birds were so much fun and plentiful. Wonderful hosts, they were very helpful.
