Hi Robin, we are so sorry that you had difficulty with the WiFi, this is the first time in 4 years that it happened. We have now changed the WiFi to NBN so there should not be a problem in the future unless the NBN goes down. We will make up for the WiFi issue next time you are in Melbourne. Cheers Peter

Girls weekend

I travelled to Melbourne with my sister and 2 friends for the weekend so the accommodation was perfect for us. It was as advertised, the location was great and the free undercover allocated carpark and lift was great. The only problem was that the lift broke down on the Saturday, we coped with climbing the 3 flights of stairs a couple of times on the Saturday (we are not young) but were concerned about getting our luggage down the stairs when we left on the Sunday. Jacqui, the Host, was great, she came round in the morning and carried all 3 of our cases downstairs to the car. we were very grateful for this help. Because the lift was not working we were unable to take our rubbish to the bin as requested.

Thank you for your review Elizabeth. I am glad Jacqui managed to take your luggage to the car. It is unusual for the lift to break down but I guess we were unlucky this time. I am glad you had a lovely stay, looking forward to welcoming you next time. Cheers Peter

Nice apartment in good location

Everything was as advertised and Peter was responsive and communicative. The apartment was clean and everything worked well. The only thing people should know is that the WiFi gets very weak during the day when I suppose the network is congested. Early in the morning, it was great every day, but as the day went on it would get weaker to the point of often being basically unusable. I say this not to criticize (I have no idea whether it's because the owner subscribes to a low tier or whether it's simply something about the neighborhood or about Melbourne or about Australia). I'm just reporting it so that guests might consider renting alternative Internet sources if consistent high speed access is important.

Hi Edna, again I am sorry that the building works did not finish the week before you arrived and then they told me that it will be done the day before you arrived. The builders let us all down in a big way. Sorry for the noise. As per our phoner, I asked Vrbo to refund you for the rest of your stay, I hope they have done that and you managed to find decent alternative accommodation. I will make it up to you on your next visit if you wish to stay at Aria209. Cheers Peter
