Vacay in the mountains

We enjoyed our stay! It was within minutes of town and tubing. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery each night and the privacy. Waking up to the view of the mountains each morning was amazing. The cabin was perfect for our family.

Perfect stay. ❤️

We just got back to Chicago and already miss the breathtaking mountain views! Visiting in early April was perfect—clear skies made for incredible stargazing from the hot tub, while foggy mornings created a stunning, peaceful atmosphere. The cabin felt completely secluded, as if we had the whole mountain to ourselves. The drive up was a bit intimidating at first, but we quickly got used to it. We absolutely loved our stay!

Bryson City Above the ridge

This property was amazing- close enough to Bryson City to make a quick grocery run but far enough out to feel secluded and away from everyone. Amazing views! Everything was fresh in the cabin, hot tub was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean Comfy Home

House was great. Plenty of room. The hot tub was easy to use. Location perfect and close to everything we wanted to do. Driveway to the house was very steep and in need of some repair.

Nice cabin. Great beds and all home supplies you need. New tvs, hot tub was clean, nice fire pit. Watch out- fresh bear poop near house. I would stay again for the cabin but not the drive way. Make sure you have traction control or 4 wheel drive and keep foot on gas and this is in good weather.

Cozy cabin, had everything to make the stay enjoyable. Check in was easy with an electronic code and Internet easy to access. The beds are comfortable and the hot tub was nice, wish the cover was different as when it’s open it blocks the view. There downstairs floors are warped making opening/closing the bedroom doors difficult. The water filter is filthy, so we bought bottled water for drinking and cooking. Shower curtain needs to be washed/changed and the 1 ply TP is cheap. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was terrible, but my son fixed it by cleaning the aerator (see water filter). The driveway IS steep (keep your wheels on the track until all four have crested). We made a pact to only navigate down/up once per day .

We’ve taken note and are addressing these concerns—our maintenance team is replacing the water filter, cleaning the shower curtain, . We’re also exploring solutions for the hot tub cover to preserve the beautiful view and assessing the floor warping to improve door functionality. Nice Cabin

Very nice stay, extremely steep driveway. Could only rent this cabin with a SUV. Great location. Beds were good. Need a cover for the ADT alarm panel in the bedroom. It is too bright and like having a giant nightlight on, Did love the ring cameral on the front porch. Not sure how those work, but assume they can listen in on all conversations. Beautiful view so nice to sit on the front porch and talk with family but feel you are being imposed on with the camera picking up sound and motion. Overall gorgeous views and a nice place.

Family Vacation

Nice place to stay. Well stocked. Provided plenty of towels. Clean. Hard to get ahold of property contact. Locked out. We were given wrong code. Hot tub didn’t work. Finally fixed on our LAST night. Driveway is steep. Deck needs to be replaced. Not safe. Location is quiet and peaceful and far away from others so that was nice.

After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following: - We're glad our place was a nice place to stay and that it was clean and well-stocked. - We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by our guest contact's unresponsiveness. Rest assured, we are taking steps to ensure this won't be an issue for future guests. - The lock issue was due to a previous guest's mishap. Although our guest contact promptly replaced the lock with a new one, they overlooked programming it with the same code. We apologize for any trouble this may have caused. - A wire in the hot tub somehow became loose and was tripping the breaker. Unfortunately, we were unaware of this issue during your stay. However, it is now fixed, and we have not had any other issues since. - We did maintenance work on the deck in early September. All problematic deck boards were replaced, and the entire deck received a thorough pressure-washing and staining. Once again, thank you for your valuable feedback, and we hope that you'll consider staying with us again in the future.

Secluded cabin with a nice view

The cabin is very secluded, with a beautiful view of the mountains. It has a great location to both Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The driveway is not for the faint of heart, and requires four-wheel drive and a little courage. The cabin could definitely use a deeper cleaning, as there were still food crumbs under the table and around the stove. Dead ladybugs were in abundance, but they have a note explaining that they treat the ladybugs without success. The cleaning woman was still there when we arrived, and there were at least 50 dead ladybugs on the welcome mat inside the door before she even left. The furniture and beds aren't very comfortable. There's really no water pressure upstairs and nothing great downstairs. Both showers squeal like mad regardless of how much water is coming out. And there wasn't any room in the bear proof trash can for our trash, though in the checkout instructions they ask for you to place the trash in the bin outside. We had a little trouble with the door lock on the cabin, but called the property manager and that was resolved quickly. In general

Solitude, hot tub, and close to town!

The cabin was clean and had great amenities including a hot tub, foosball table, and fire pit (they even included the wood). The view from the upper loft of the mountains is breathtaking. There are a lot of cooking supplies and a ton of towels, so we didn't have to constantly do laundry, but there is a washer and dryer in the cabin when we did. The ownders supplied coffee, several spices, and had plenty of dishes and glasses. There is a dishwasher on sight as well. There is not a garbage disposal, but that is the only thing that is lacking. The covered porches had nice furniture to sit on and drink coffee. The only suggestion I would make is to cover the hot tub with an awning, but it was still awesome. The cabin is high up the mountain and secluded by trees, so if feels like you are all alone, but it is very close to town, which was nice when we wanted to drive into the grocery store or to eat in town. The beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets and pillows in the closets. The furniture is comfortable, the televisions had several channels, and although it is a little slow, the cabin has wifi that works. I wouldn't be able to work from home on it, but I could definitely check emails and get wifi calls out to our oldest son in Germany. We have AT&T phone coverage, and our youngest son has Verizon and both worked just fine in the cabin to make calls. There is also a landline in the cabin for emergencies. The checkout process was super easy, and there is a book to sign of all the fun adventures you take. We were only the second person to sign, but I can't wait to go back and read everyone elses experiences next time. We had a great stay, and we appreciate the owner's sharing their home with us.
