This cabin is in a semi secluded area, elk are in abundance. We saw rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks... You can actually arrive with just a change of clothes because they have everything you need and some things you didn't know you needed. I would recommend to anyone looking for a get away from the daily grind, this is the spot.

Stunning view!

We loved our stay at this cozy little cabin! The view from the back porch is amazing…it has unobstructed views of the meadow & pines, & if you’re lucky, you will see some elk grazing in the meadow. The property was clean & comfortable. The only issue we had was finding it because our GPS stopped working. But we contacted the owner & they responded immediately. Definitely recommend this cabin!

The bed should be replaced with a queen size bed. The one that is in there is a standard size, plus the mattress is very uncomfortable. I let my husband have the bed and I slept, or tried to on one of the recliner. I was not feeling well, so we only stayed one night out of the 3 we booked. The reason I gave the house only a 3 in cleanliness is because there were many areas in the house which needed attention. Also, there were no face towels on the bathrooms. The area is beautiful and the view was very nice.

Nutrioso Cabin

Very nice cabin. Clean for the most part. Outside trash can was full when we arrived and we were forced to keep our garbage inside. We enjoyed the view and saw many elk. Our disappointment was with the lack of comfort. Living room furniture was very uncomfortable as was the bed.

Lots of elk, beautiful setting - difficult to find house

Evolve's directions to the place were awful. We traveled up and down country roads looking for the correct one, as they are not marked on 191. Should have said to turn on AUGER CANYON Tr. & once on it you'll see the sign for CR 2269. The house is not marked at the driveway entrance, we traveled past it on a single lane dirt road. House number is the same color as the house, so almost impossible to see it down the hill (the house is below the road level).Had to back up find the driveway (which is before the house, so a number there would have been very helpful). It's the 2nd house. It had rained previously, and our 4wd truck got stuck in the mud in the driveway. Took 45 min to get it out. If we had come in our 2wd Expedition, we would have needed a tow truck, and because there is such sketchy phone service (even with Verizon) we would have been totally out of luck. It should be mentioned in the directions to print them out or write them down before coming because of the poor phone service-our maps app did not work up there. I wrote them out only because I saw a reviewer that said that saved them. The cabin is clean and comfortable, but out of 3 TVs only one worked and that was in the bunk bed bedroom. Not comfortable and no current news programs available (only HULU and such). Bunk bedroom also had a broken ceiling fan (blade missing) so that could not be used. TONS of elk in meadow and even around the house, lots of towels, kitchen things, nice once there!!

Perfect getaway for the family

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Nutrioso cabin. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we couldn't have asked for a more peaceful setting. One of my favorite memories was watching the young elk in the mornings, calling out to one another as they played in the sunshine.There was no shortage of nature to enjoy. We spent time fishing nearby, stargazing under the clear night sky, and savoring our morning coffee on the back patio while taking in the scenery. Due to burn restrictions, we brought along a small s'mores maker, which helped keep that classic camping feeling alive.The cabin was comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Quick trips to Safeway and Western Drug in Eagar made our stay even more convenient. We also enjoyed exploring the area, including the large local museum, which is free to visit. If you enjoy sightseeing, there's even a free historic scavenger hunt available through Adventure Lab.Staying here felt like a true blessing—a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature, and make wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!If I HAD to mention a negative- it'd be one small thing, a pizza cutter and pizza pan would have been helpful. But having binoculars available for wildlife viewing and a deck of Uno cards for family fun more than made up for it! 😊
