It’s fall in the pines with beautiful cool days to enjoy the lakes, fishing, hiking and cool nights to sit around the camp fire and watch the stars. Discover this beautiful 2-bedroom/2-bath gem in Nutrioso. This cozy cabin offers a serene escape with a king bed, bunk beds, queen size sofa sleeper and futon. Perfect for the family vacation or for a romantic getaway. Enjoy the terrific living room spaces with a rock wall fireplace and Arizona room to soak in the beautiful pines right outside your door. With temperatures in the 70's during the summer it is a prefect place for outdoor enthusiasts with several nearby lakes and plenty of hiking trails. In the winter it makes the perfect setting to cozy up with a good book by the fireplace after a fun day at nearby Sunrise Ski Resort. Our cabin is tucked away in the trees on our 2 1/2 acres so it’s a peaceful retreat where you can spend hours bird watching or listening to the wind in the trees from the full front porch. With whole house WiFi you can also curl up on the couch and take in a movie on the smart tv. 10 minutes to Alpine and 20 minutes from Springerville, you can find a few restaurants or stock up on groceries nearby. Whether you're relaxing by the fireplace or exploring one of the many lakes in the area, this cabin is the perfect retreat for guests looking for a peaceful getaway. We do our best to stock up on the essentials like a Keurig coffee maker, ground coffee maker, propane grill for cooking some steaks during your stay and even cozy blankets to curl up with for you and puppy blankets for your fur babies. While we are dog friendly there is a pet fee to cover the extra cleaning charges. There is also a fenced in backyard area keeping your fur babies safe while able to run around. This was the best cabin ever, we stayed here from aug 15th to aug 20th 2026, the host was fast to respond to any of our questions and was very informative of everything we needed to know about their cabin, the cabin and property is beautiful well maintained, has everything you need, all we had to do was to bring all our groceries, and personal belongings, We would stay here again,

What a fantastic stay! Beautiful home, great location! Clean, comfortable, Really great for pets with the fenced yard and a gate on the front porch. So many little touches that go a long way: blankets for doggies, kindling and such for fireplace. Lots of wildlife in the area. Close enough to a town to get supplies or other things to do, yet far enough out it feels remote. There really wasn't anything missing! Our hosts are really great at doing this. We wish we had booked to stay longer, and will next time!

Cabin was perfect for a peaceful, restful and cool getaway in the mountains. The large front porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening relaxation. The host provided all the essentials and we, and especially our dog, loved the large fenced backyard.

We needed a get away from heat of Phoenix and busy lives. This is the most peaceful quiet retreat. The porch is the greatest place to sit and watch the birds and squirrels and decompress. The host was so helpful with incredible tips of what to do in the area and the home was perfectly stocked with great kitchen appliances and pans etc. We will definitely be back but thoroughly appreciated such an incredible retreat.

Alma and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was excellent and we can’t say enough about it. From the perfect location to get around the area to the very warm and comfortable Cabin! Loved this property! King bed was amazingly comfortable. My 8 year old loved this cabin! Says it was the best one she has stayed in. But my family and I loved the cabin and property as a whole. Very cozy feel! Will definitely get this cabin again.

Absolutely wonderful and Erma was an amazing and generous host. We loved the fenced yard and front and back porches. Erma even left us a personal anniversary gift — way beyond the call. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. We’d definitely stay again.

The peaceful fourth

The property is beautiful. The environment is peaceful. It was the perfect getaway for our family trying to escape the noise of the Fourth of July weekend. The owners were lovely and easy to get a hold of for any needs.

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful cabin from 8/10 - 8/14 to get out of the Tucson heat and do some fishing. The fishing wasn't great, but the cabin was. It was a fabulous experience from beginning to end. The owner/host was very responsive and tremendously helpful. The cabin was very, clean, neat and tidy and comfortable. It has a fenced back yard which our dogs loved. The people in town were very friendly. We highly recommend this wonderful home. We will return in the future. Thank you again to our host.

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The home is tucked into the forest yet close enough to enjoy nearby attractions. We went on the Casa Malpais ruins tour, fishing at multiple spots (the best was Big Lake) and even went up to the ski resort. While in the cabin we were supplied with ample games and books, the atmosphere was cozy with candles in every room. There was even a 'just in case' basket which held items often overlooked while leaving home, this was a very nice touch. We took our dogs who enjoyed the fenced in back yard and walks around the property.Irma was quick with communication before and during our trip.

The stay itself was amazing! The cabin is beautiful the weather was perfect! It was easy to find! The host made it easy to communicate with however we noticed that the cabin was pet friendly so we assumed we could bring our little 20 lb cockapoo. She doesn’t really shed but when the cleaning team came in they said they found some black hair and yes she is black. So to our surprise we were charged 100 pet cleaning fee. Not mentioned in the initial information regarding the cabin. Had we known that we would have chosen a different cabin or left our dog at home. But we were looking for a cabin in which she was welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The size was perfect for our group, with two comfortable bedrooms, including a spacious primary suite with its own bathroom.One of the biggest highlights was the large, fully fenced yard. It was perfect for our dogs to run and play without worrying about them getting out, and it would be just as great for families with young kids.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, and everything went smoothly during our stay.The only minor suggestion is to save the GPS coordinates before you arrive, as Google Maps had a little trouble locating the cabin. It was a very small inconvenience and didn't take away from an otherwise fantastic experience.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Nutrioso. Hi! We are Eric and Irma and we hope you enjoy our cozy family cabin. We enjoy our cool retreat in the beautiful pines in north east AZ. We love fishing at nearby Nelson reservoir and just spending time relaxing in the cool weather. Our favorite thing to do is having our morning coffee on the front porch while watching our favorite little squirrel we’ve named Ezekiel. The bird watching is great too! As an AZ native, I grew up enjoying family trips to the White Mountains and learning to fish at Big Lake. I have great memories of our family camping trips, and now we love making more memories with our kids and grandkids in our amazing family cabin. We love spending time here with family and friends and hope you’ll enjoy it too!

We love being on 2 1/2 acres of wooded land where we have graded roads and friendly neighbors but plenty of room to feel a peaceful solitude. Our home away from home is a perfect retreat in the summer and winter, with perfect year round temperatures. It’s perfect for a quick weekend getaway or for a relaxing week long vacation to unwind. We love just relaxing with the two of us but we also have fun family trips with 10 of us enjoying board games together, hiking, exploring the woods and just hanging in nature. It’s the perfect time when no one has their cell phone out except to take pictures of elk or of our rabbit family that lives nearby.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We recently remodeled the entire place. We put in new tile floors, new bathrooms, fresh paint and added all the comforts of home like ceiling fans! It's a quiet get away but has all the comforts of home like whole house wi-fi, smart TV, all appliances including a Keurig coffee maker and toaster oven. We are tucked away in the trees off the gravel road on our 2 1/2 acres so you can feel the peaceful solitude of nature but we are still 10 minutes from Alpine which has a small store for fishing supplies, gas station and some great restaurants. It’s a perfect place to getaway and enjoy the peace and quiet but easily accessible by paved roads and still close to civilization.
