We got snow! Sunrise ski resort is opening the tube hill and snow is falling. Come enjoy a cozy getaway or fun winter adventures. Hunters, families and outdoor enthusiasts, we’ve got the place for you. Discover this beautiful 2-bedroom/2-bath gem in Nutrioso. This cozy cabin offers a serene escape with a king bed, bunk beds, queen size sofa sleeper and futon. Perfect for the family vacation or for a romantic getaway. Enjoy the terrific living room spaces with a rock wall fireplace and Arizona room to soak in the beautiful pines right outside your door. With temperatures in the 70's during the summer it is a prefect place for outdoor enthusiasts with several nearby lakes and plenty of hiking trails. In the winter it makes the perfect setting to cozy up with a good book by the fireplace after a fun day at nearby Sunrise Ski Resort. Whether you're relaxing by the fireplace or exploring one of the many lakes in the area, this cabin is the perfect retreat for guests looking for a peaceful getaway. While we are dog friendly there is a pet fee to cover the extra cleaning charges. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out.

The cabin was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very communicative and prompt in all the things they did. We loved our stay here. It is a beautiful area, a beautiful home and definitely would stay here again.

Loved this property! King bed was amazingly comfortable. My 8 year old loved this cabin! Says it was the best one she has stayed in. But my family and I loved the cabin and property as a whole. Very cozy feel! Will definitely get this cabin again.

Absolutely wonderful and Erma was an amazing and generous host. We loved the fenced yard and front and back porches. Erma even left us a personal anniversary gift — way beyond the call. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. We’d definitely stay again.

The peaceful fourth

The property is beautiful. The environment is peaceful. It was the perfect getaway for our family trying to escape the noise of the Fourth of July weekend. The owners were lovely and easy to get a hold of for any needs.

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful cabin from 8/10 - 8/14 to get out of the Tucson heat and do some fishing. The fishing wasn't great, but the cabin was. It was a fabulous experience from beginning to end. The owner/host was very responsive and tremendously helpful. The cabin was very, clean, neat and tidy and comfortable. It has a fenced back yard which our dogs loved. The people in town were very friendly. We highly recommend this wonderful home. We will return in the future. Thank you again to our host.

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The home is tucked into the forest yet close enough to enjoy nearby attractions. We went on the Casa Malpais ruins tour, fishing at multiple spots (the best was Big Lake) and even went up to the ski resort. While in the cabin we were supplied with ample games and books, the atmosphere was cozy with candles in every room. There was even a 'just in case' basket which held items often overlooked while leaving home, this was a very nice touch. We took our dogs who enjoyed the fenced in back yard and walks around the property.Irma was quick with communication before and during our trip.

The stay itself was amazing! The cabin is beautiful the weather was perfect! It was easy to find! The host made it easy to communicate with however we noticed that the cabin was pet friendly so we assumed we could bring our little 20 lb cockapoo. She doesn’t really shed but when the cleaning team came in they said they found some black hair and yes she is black. So to our surprise we were charged 100 pet cleaning fee. Not mentioned in the initial information regarding the cabin. Had we known that we would have chosen a different cabin or left our dog at home. But we were looking for a cabin in which she was welcome.

Hi! We are Eric and Irma and we hope you enjoy our cozy family cabin. We enjoy our cool retreat in the beautiful pines in north east AZ. We love fishing at nearby Nelson reservoir and just spending time relaxing in the cool weather. Our favorite thing to do is having our morning coffee on the front porch while watching our favorite little squirrel we’ve named Ezekiel. The bird watching is great too! We love spending time here with family and friends and hope you’ll enjoy it too!

We love being on 2 1/2 acres of wooded land where we have graded roads and friendly neighbors but plenty of room to feel a peaceful solitude.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We recently remodeled the entire place. We put in new tile floors, new bathrooms, fresh paint and added all the comforts of home like ceiling fans! It's a quiet get away but has all the comforts of home like whole house wi-fi, smart TV, all appliances including a Keurig coffee maker and toaster oven.
