Beautiful and relaxing getaway. The views are Amazing! Seeing wildlife through out the day watching them while relaxing on the deck, many options of things to do if staying at home, convenient to town with great scenic route really feeling the mountain vibes coming to an from. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants a mountain getaway and I would also book again.

What a beautiful home and an equally beautiful view. Very clean and well equipped with all the amenities you would ever need. Great location, only a half a mile to the town of Beech Mountain with shops and restaurants.Communication with the host was easy and efficient. Great instructions were given for all the appliances and equipment. It was very easy to get in and check out. I would highly recommend this house for a visit any time of year. We'll be back!

The location and home were beautiful, but there were several broken items (oven, fireplace, hot tub, grill, mixer, bathroom towel bar). Our visit turned into a revolving door of service people coming to the home.Pros: very clean, modern, easy access due to circular driveway, close to 2 different ski resorts.Cons: there seemed to be a lot of 'quirks' (e.g., fireplace had extremely complicated pilot light, fuse blows when you turn on the treadmill, we were instructed to adjust the hot tub chemicals before each use), and multiple broken items as above. By far, the worst part was on the two occasions the owner called me, he just screamed and blamed me. Meanwhile, there was a very nice local housekeeper who was doing everything she could to fix things. I felt so bad for her since she told me she was also getting yelled at by the owner.

Perfect for Family Ski Vacation

Home in the Mountains

Inviting and comfortable home! Has everything a mountain home could offer! Amazing views, cozy fires, spacious and beautiful. House was very clean and decorated for Christmas for our stay. Highly recommend!

Snowy Mountain Getaway

The house was fantastic with views from almost every room. The homeowner was very helpful, especially since we had a major snowstorm and some issues with the roads. The house was very well laid out and had all the necessary amenities. We love the fireplace and the Christmas decorations. I would highly recommend this house for families, looking to have a true mountain vacation.

Snow-cation

The size and location of the home was perfect! Beds were comfy and there were plenty of linens, blankets, towels etc. The kitchen was perfect size for the nights we stayed in and cooked a meal. Thank you for adding comfort to our enjoyable snow-cation.

Great place to stay close to beech

This was an amazing place to stay. The host was very responsive to any questions that came up. There were also a great supply of supplies to deal with the winter storm that rolled in. This allowed us to really enjoy our time on the slopes. This was a great home to enjoy Christmas with the family.

Beat the heat

We had a great time in this house, and it was as advertised. Great location close to Beech mountain activities. Enjoyed playing air hockey, foosball, and relaxing in the hot tub. View was unbeatable. Very well stocked kitchen and house. Highly recommend.

NC Mountains

The house is large with plenty of bedrooms. Has all the amenities for a house rental, kitchen , ability to laundry etc. Delivers the big Mountain View’s that everyone wants for that location. Very nice and the owner is very accommodating.

View is Worth Price of Admission

The owners made the whole process so easy, which was great. The house was spacious and very homey. The deck looked straight out to Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Mountain to the southwest. Views were amazing and sitting above the clouds was captivating. Excellent house/location.

Great location for skiing with amazing views

Very nice amenities in a modern mountain home with expansive views of Grandfather Mountain. 8 min from Beech, 15 min from Sugar (traffic depending). Listing is accurate and the owners are good communicators. Well equipped kitchen. Low hassle checkout. Definitely recommend!

Beech Mountain Getaway

The house was very well equipped for a family gathering. Very clean. The open plan including the kitchen, dining room and living room was terrific. The windows at the rear of the house took advantage of the spectacular mountain views to the east and south. Full length decks across the first floor and the lower level were well furnished. Lots to do nearby and perfect weather made our vacation one of the best ever.

A breath of fresh air

We booked this home for our family Spring Break vacation. We converge at this beautiful mountain retreat escaping the oppressions of large metropolitan center in South Florida and Philadelphia. It provided a most welcome breath of fresh air and peace. It is a great HOME away from home. It is cozy, comfortable and welcoming... just perfect for our family gathering (3 generations, 8 people) On the practical side considering location, size, amenities and price, it was a great value.

Perfect Spring Skiing Getaway

We loved staying at this beautiful home in a quiet gated community. The house provided everything we needed and more. So spacious and cozy, we could all gather together comfortably or spread out to the bedrooms, workout room, gaming areas, porch, backyard or living room. The convenience and ease to go skiing, out to eat or shopping was a plus. One of our favorite unexpected surprises was feeding the deer with the corn provided! We’ve stayed in Beech Mtn many times over the years and this was by far our favorite home away from home!

We chose this house because it represents freedom from the everyday rush and brings us back to the things we value most - family, home, nature, cool breezes, the sounds of birds, a deer in the back yard, setting in a swing set looking at the fall leaves, outdoor meals or simply roasting marshmallows in the fire pit on the deck or listing to the babbling brook. To me, it is simply beautiful!
