We really enjoyed staying here. The patio was our favorite spot to hang. The house had everything we needed. We took a walk every morning down the quiet road and enjoyed the wildlife present.

Great View from home! We Loved it! Hope to be back next year! The river is cold, I didn’t know it was going to be so cold but we still got in almost knee deep and splashed around some!

Overall it was nice... but...We were surprised to find upon checkin that the area was not what we expected. First of all, it is right along train tracks. Like the driveway ends at the tracks. This was not an inactive route. At least twice a day a train went by even at 3 am. Second, there was a full on construction project going on next door. Not their fault but also not a nice surprise. On the plus side the house has great sound insulation so neither was too bad but for sure not the quiet oasis we expected. We had planned to practically live on the back porch but a lot of the time we couldn't use it. We also did not expect that the river is basically just decorative unless you fish. It is WAY too cold to swim in most of the time and the water level drops everyday making it a steep drop off with no way to get to the water unless you wanna get real muddy. Now the positives. The house was nice (a little corporate housing and echo-y but nice). The furniture was comfortable, especially the beds. There were ample towels and spare blankets which I appreciated. The kitchen had most tools you could need, though many were a little worse for wear (the spatulas were ragged). The tvs were big and worked well. The shower got nice and hot and the pressure was fine. Overall, I felt it was overpriced but nice. We found a great swimming spot at Big Spring park and spent most days there. If you are coming to sleep and fish it is great, anything else maybe give it a pass

Relaxing on the White River

Fabulous family fun! The property was exactly as shown on the site. My husband is in a wheel chair and this is the first rental where he could easily move from one room to another, as well as, enjoy the fantastic scenery from the back deck. My grandson said he gives it a 5 star review. Highly recommend and hope to make it back.

We enjoyed our stay this year as much as we did last year! Ms Karen was very friendly and suggested different things for us to do. Last year we caught a few fish this year we came home empty handed it may have been because of the dam causing the river to go up and down but not sure.. we tried fishing and then went on a canoe ride at the buffalo river that was very pretty and the water in the Buffalo River water is nice and warm and you can swim at different spots down the river.Planning to be back next year again!
