Quiet, stress free, and exclusive lakefront cottage at the end of a cul-de-sac surrounded by mature, natural trees and tranquility for the perfect holiday vacation. Hiking trails right out the front door. 10 minute drive to the spectacular, must-see Screaming Heads, Midlothian Castle outdoor exhibit encompassing huge cast-concrete sculptures on a 310 acre property. Deck is fenced in so it's perfect for dogs/toddlers etc. The deck is huge!Jackie was an excellent host. She was very attentive and a great communicator. Great summer stay

The cottage was amazing and was great for our toddler to stay at. The beds were SO comfortable and the deck was for sure a big feature. Definitely recommend this cottage. Well worth the money.

Beautiful and tranquil setting

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was spacious and clean. The setting was beautiful, with a large deck overlooking the water. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer!

Great sunset on lake Cecebe. Place to tie up boat. Very long dock but good boardwalk. Main rooms excellent. There were no blankets available so had to dig into jumbled closet to find one. Not enough towels for every one. No hanger space. Most drawers had someone else’s personal items. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen very complete but would have been nice to have a microwaveable dish with a lid that fit. Groceries are at Burks Falls or at Magnetawan. Eating out is either a boat ride to magnetawan or driving 20 minutes or so. Very nice deck with a propane fire pit. If you rent from middle of week to mid week as we did, the only place we could find was Seguin Township toward parry sound to take garbage and recycling.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the main rooms, comfortable beds, kitchen, deck, fire pit and especially the beautiful sunsets and long dock. Our cottage is a private, woodland property, and we do provide guests with advance information and written instructions regarding garbage and recycling, as rural properties have different disposal arrangements than properties in town. We’re always happy to receive constructive feedback and have taken note of the comments regarding towels, storage and blankets. We also ask guests to leave the cottage free of food and personal items at checkout so we can prepare it properly for the next guests. We did find an exorbitant amount left, including leftovers in my microwaveable dish…..you must have found them, that’s great! We appreciate you choosing our cottage and wish you all the best.

NYE stay

Booked a last minute stay for NYE - price was great, location was amazing (completely secluded), house was clean and equipped with everything needed for long/short term stays. Will definitely be looking to book again for the summertime!

The cottage is so bright and comfortable. Lots to do! We loved the kayaks and paddle board and floaties. We would just drift off with the current in the sun and my husband would pull us back with a kayak. The deck out the back is the best and appreciated the gate to keep an eye on our dog.

Perfect = Heaven Knox

Great view of the lake from cottage, very roomy and comfortable. Every thing worked, kitchen was very well equiped , large dining room table, large deck , internet was fast and cell reception was strong. The beds were very comfortable with fans in all the rooms. Even the toilet paper was soft.

Weekend friends getaway

It's a beautiful property tucked away and with lots of privacy. We loved the view from the deck and the walk out onto the dock is stunning! The only small issue we had was that one of the bunks had bedsheets with hair and a small stain on the pillowcase. But we found clean sheets in the dresser and changed them out. Would definitely book again!

Amazing peaceful getaway

Love the the porch had a gate. Made the porch a nice safe place for the dog and she loved being outside and having a bit of freedom even when we were busy in the kitchen. The property was very nice and loved the long dock that went down to the water. The cottage was nice and clean and very homey. Beautiful lake front and got amazing sunset.

The location is perfect for us. Quiet and private. The place is spacious. Good supplies in the kitchen. The owner is vey responsive for our questions. She was very helpful when we stuck in the snowstorm.

PEACE & QUIET

We went to enjoy the fall colours and to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, it rained the three days of our stay but we were comfortable and we got in a couple of walks. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is totally outfitted with spices and pots and pans and dishware. I did miss having stemware for my wine. It was great to have a lake view and use my binnoculars. There is a walk-in shower which is great for seniors. There is no tub. Great communication with the hostess. Thank you Jackie for sharing your cottage!

I am from the Oakville area and love the North. I fell in love with Heaven Knox when I first saw the view. The cottage was only Plywood and 2x4s and finished it with the idea of eventually living there. I enjoy hosting this lovely piece of Heaven and hope that others could and would enjoy it as well.

The Vista, the Energy, the Quiet retreat in Nature. Nature at its finest! In the Spring we have front row to the Aurora Borealis. Deep rich waters full of fish and wildlife.....roaring Mighty Magnetawan River rushing past my doorstep.
