Exceptional place to stay

A very relaxing and quiet place to stay for a get-away weekend or longer. Walked around the neighborhoods and enjoyed the view of the lake from the shore. The house had many very thoughtful amenities, especially in the kitchen and some childproofing for those with toddlers. Clean and comfortable.

Adorable lake house

We really enjoyed our stay. The lake was a close walk from the house. There was plenty of picnic tables at the lake which allowed us to have a full lake day. The house is in great condition and the beds were comfortable. David was really responsive whenever we had a question. We would definitely book this house again.

Cute Stay

My friend and I booked for a girls trip weekend to local bookstores in the area. The house was so cute and in a nice little community within walking distance to the lake. Everything was exactly as described and had everything we could have asked for. Very clean and organized.

Pleasant stay

The house was very cute and clean. Small suggestion: could use some comfy blankets to snuggle on the couch for movies but overall stay was pleasant. We thought we were closer to the water due to pictures on VRBO but being only a couple of blocks away was not a big deal. Cute house!

Nice & Clean place

The place was very neat and clean. Plenty of space in the kitchen, dining room and the living room. Both beds were comfy. Bedding clean. Bathroom clean with fresh towels. The fire pit outside was perfect with firewood cut and ready to burn. I would definitely recommend the place!!

Very nice. Quiet, cozy and comfortable. The only drawback was the nosy, overzealous neighbor who hates the idea of bnb's in his neighborhood. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

A great location to explore the Chippewa Lake Parks!

The access to the home went without a hitch, just as described. The home was clean, kitchen well-stocked, the dining area airy and bright, and the beds comfortable (although somewhat high to get in and out of - for us). The bathroom is small but clean and very serviceable. The heating/cooling system is good - accommodating the highly fluctuating high and low temperatures of our 4 day stay. The lake is an easy walk (not like the one photo suggests it is a walk out the door), with a nice playground. The neighborhood was quiet, even though houses are close together. Even though there was just the two of us, a family with small children would enjoy this home. We would return to this rental again.

Chippewa Lake

Home was nice, clean had great communication from the home owner. I thought home was in a more private secluded setting. However, it was in an area that was not kept as nice as this property. 4 blocks I think from the Lake. Over priced for what we thought we were getting from the pics attached to the listing… very little yard and very little privacy.Trying not to complain it met our needs. We would not rent again for this price. Just trying to give a very honest review. Not trying to offend or hurt the owner from future rentals.

Hi Daniel, thanks for sharing your feedback! We’re so glad to hear you thought the home was nice and clean, and we also appreciate your additional insight. The owner stated that the neighborhood is a summer vacation neighborhood that has lots of cottages that are not occupied except for a few months in the middle of the summer. The beach in the photos is 0.2 miles from the house. 1 min by car or 5 min walking.
