We had a wonderful 3-week stay! It is in a very bike-friendly location, with easy access to the CCRT and Nickerson. The house lends itself well to spreading out inside and out. It has lots of handmade woodworking touches. The outside covered porch is fabulous. We ate our meals and hung out there all the time. The yard was spacious and perfect for entertaining. The grill is under a separate covered porch. The barn on the property helps to create an intimate-feeling yard. All BRs have comfortable queen beds and A/C units, and are organized into 3 distinct areas. This is perfect for multiple couples or families with older kids. Young kids may seem too far away from parents opting for the primary BR.1. The primary is huge with its own LR, and the most comfortable place to gather and watch TV. It has beautiful stained-glass windows but is a bit dark. 2. Two BRs are in a separate wing, with a small kitchen and desk, and can be closed off. This proved ideal for working from home, and the WiFi was solid. One has windows on 3 sides, which is lovely. 3. The upstairs loft area is a modified attic with ladder-type steps and a half bath. It worked out great for our young adult child, but it's not for everyone. The attic door is permanently propped open with a creative pulley device, and we draped a sheet for privacy. On the downside, there was a lot of road noise. Communication could also have been much better, especially before we arrived, but we worked it out.
