Set back of the main road in a rural backdrop and close to the amazing rail trail bike path which takes you either to the heart of Porepunkah to the Rail Trail Cafe, Punkah Pub, or easily roll along past the bright Golf Club into the metropolis of Bright, you really do get the best of both worlds by staying here. This cosy 3- Bedroom, 1.5 Bathroom property is a perfect weekend getaway for either couples or a small family.
This property is pet friendly; however only for outdoor dogs.

KITCHEN & DINING:
The kitchen is located in the centre of the property and looks out over the little breakfast/dining nook, which is bathed in morning sunlight, perfect spot for your morning cuppa. The kitchen has everything you need including large gas cooktop and oven, microwave & fridge - and of course the essential dishwasher!
Slower cooker and coffee maker also provided.

LOUNGE & ENTERTAINMENT :
The lounge features a reverse cycle AC and plenty of comfortable seating suitable for 6 people. There is a Smart TV and unlimited WIFI.

HEATING & COOLING :
There is a reverse cycle AC in the lounge, ceiling fans in 2 bedrooms, portable fan in 1 and 2 portable heaters.
Electric blankets provided for those cooler winter nights.

BATHROOM:
A large main bathroom features a walk in shower, large bath, vanity and toilet. There is a second toilet located in laundry as well.

OUTDOORS:
A generous undercover entertainment area with lounge sitting out the front with views of Mt Buffalo along with roll down blinds. There is also an outdoor setting for 6 in the backyard, which is fully fenced with gas BBQ. Set in a large backyard with views out to rural farmland, this really is a great place for families and fury friends to kick back and relax.

LAUNDRY:
There is a washing machine/dryer combo, cloths rack, ironing board and iron for your convenience.

Dog friendly cottage

Great stay near Bright and a short drive to Hotham/Dinner Plain. Good facility provided nice and clean have everything we need for a family of 5 for our annual snow trip with our little Frenchie too.

Pleasant Stay

Very nice place to stay. The house was very comfortable and had everything you need for a getaway. Just a little over an hour to go to Hotham for a day trip to the snows and about an hour and half to Falls creek. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from the city from a short getaway.

Great spot for an autumn getaway

Property was ideal for our family of four. Porepunkah is a great location. Close to Bright (but not as busy) and the ideal starting point for a bike ride to the Happy Valley Hotel. Olivia was very easy to communicate with the front deck is a great spot to sit down with a book and a glass of wine as the day ends. Porepunkah Pub is walking distance and a great option for a nice, casual dinner.

Lovely stay

Very comfortable stay with attention paid to the areas that matter, in comfy, quiet bedrooms, a good shower and a kitchen that worked well. Lots to see and do with the neighbourhood Punkah pub, Punkah pantry, river walks all within walking distance and Bright just a short drive away. Our family enjoyed the 3 night stay and wish we had another day. Thank you Olivia!

We spent a couple of nights at this lovely, comfortable cottage. It backs onto farmland, very peaceful. Large, well fenced garden for my dog. Great location to explore the Bright area from. Definitely book again.

Gorgeous house in perfect location - short walk to Porepunkah and easy drive to Bright. Olivia was exceptionally easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in early and check out late. Firewood supplied. Clean, modern yet country style home. Will absolutely be back!!! Thank you Olivia!
