Come to the place where the Stars hang-out at Rockwynn Cottages.

We are located on Gordon Island, nestled amongst the rocks and trees providing privacy with Rustic 1 & 2 bedroom Cottages built in 1940/50's, 2 new modern lofts, and 3 bedroom Garden House with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Capture the rustic feel inside and outside of your cottage, overlooking beautiful Lake Cecebe.  

We are a short 5 minute boat-ride from the public launch at Rockwynn Landing Rd. Park your car for free and we will pick you up at the dock.

The space
Rustic 1 bedroom Cottages built in 1940/50's with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Capture the rustic feel inside and outside of your cottage overlooking beautiful Lake Cecebe.

Guest access
Swim off the docks, enjoy a kayak on the lake or try catching that fish that got away. There is a large firepit for campfires, horse shoe pit and other games. wood firwd sauna. Pick raspberries from the numerous berry bushes around.

[ ] fishing rods – Don’t forget you need a fishing license, bait can be bought at local marina

There is shopping for groceries, restaurants, and a liquor store in nearby towns of Magnetawan and Burk's Falls about 15 -20 min away. Remember we are on an Island so getting to the grocery store is a little more difficult. I would advise to try and bring all your food with you.

We Provide: Bed sheets, blankets, pillows, BBQ, propane tank, picnic table, outdoor Muskoka chairs, cleaning supplies, broom, mop & pail, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, kitchen cooking equipment & dinnerware, 1 ply toilet paper (we are on a septic system – only 1 ply or paper that specifically says septic friendly) We have put in a water filtration system with UV lighting so now the water is safe to drink from the taps. You no longer need to bring drinking water.

We supply garbage/recycling bags we just ask you bring the garbage home with you for disposal because there is no area for garbage disposal on the Island. if you recycle and compost there will be little garbage to bring back.

Life jackets / PFD’s (although we provide some to be used at your own risk, life jackets /PFD’s should always be properly fitted to provide appropriate protection – you must provide kids sizes) Kayaks, paddle board, paddle boats, are free on an as-available basis.

We also have 5 small aluminum boats with motors you can rent. Most of all – HAVE FUN & MAKE SOME GREAT MEMORIES!

• If you are coming from the South, please send a text to Lorn when you are in Huntsville at 905 259 5676, so it gives us a heads up that you are close.
• When you come off the exit in Burksfalls onto the 520 can you give Lorn a call so we can meet you at the Landing.

When you arrive at the landing unpack your stuff by the dock (you can back up to the dock and unpack) then park your car and we will pick you up with our pontoon boat.
