Stay at Pier Bliss and you'll be hooked! This amazing oceanfront home with 8 bedrooms, 6 full and 2 half baths, pool and hot tub is located on the spectacular beaches of South Nags Head. Convenient to the Nags Head activities that have become a staple of vacationing on the Outer Banks.

There are nice views of Jennette's Fishing Pier, which is also a short walk to fish from and enjoy the many exhibits the NC Aquariums have displayed. This house is professionally decorated and is the perfect getaway for the ultimate Outer Banks experience! The furnishings are fantastic, from comfortable sofas, and beds to the relaxing and rejuvenating hot tub and convenient poolside tiki bar.

Excellent property

This home met all expectations. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with cookware. There was plenty of seating in the dining areas and living room. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everybody.

Family vacation at pier bliss

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There is general wear and tear but you cannot beat this location. The layout of the house is great, plenty of space. The floors could be cleaner but they leave it up to the previous guest to sweep/vacuum or there is an additional fee. There was also heavy dust on some of the fans that prevented us from using them without flinging dust all over your bed. Overall it is a good place to stay and I would stay again

The teens could hang out and play pool while the littles had a quiet place to nap! So much seating in the dining area and the kitchen was well equipped. (Even had a stand alone ice maker!) Plenty of room for parking multiple cars and weUsed the pool more than we expected.

Perfect View!

Check-In process was seamless. Very communicative. We loved the layout and view of the main floor with the kitchen and living room. Great location. We walked to both piers during our stay. Close to the the ice cream shop (walking distance). Plenty of parking space. Sheets/bedding / towels provided in clean state/ sufficient quantity. For the price point we selected we were very happy with the property. The property could use some updates and some areas where deep cleaning could be useful, but nothing that made us not enjoy our stay or feel unsafe/unclean.

Cleanliness at check in left alot to be desired. Bottom level bedroom at front of house had horrible dog urine smell to it to where room was closed off and not used. We purchased carpet deodorizer to try and get rid of smell. Did not work. Bathroom sink 2nd level front of house clogged with bowl full of water at arrival. We were able to unclog after pulling out alot of hair.

Beautiful home and views

This home was beautiful and the views were spectacular! Plenty of space, each of the 7 guests had their own room and bathroom. Nice array of supplies were provided to include a surprise birthday basket for me coordinated by Sue Ann (thank you Ma'am! A very thoughtful gesture and a personal touch that I appreciate greatly). The management team was great about servicing any issues we had. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nicely updated and room enough for our large family. The property manager easy to get ahold of and was very friendly. Unfortunately I had to call her several times. The cleaning service needed to come out and re clean. I had to clean the kitchen cabinets before I put away the food. One bathroom wasn't cleaned at all with dirty diapers and hair everywhere. The heated pool was struggling to work with pool people out to try to fix it. It didn't happen. The house was nicely situated on the ocean but didn't realize we there was a hotel a block away and a motel next door. Probably would not rent there again.

With picturesque views of Jennette's Pier and the Sound, it provided a serene backdrop for our vacation. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, offering ample room for relaxation.While the hot tub was a nice feature, we were disappointed by the condition of the swimming pool, which had accumulated a significant amount of sand. This detracted from our enjoyment of the outdoor amenities.In terms of the interior, the kitchen was in need of renovation, particularly the outdated appliances and cabinets. Upgrading these would greatly enhance the overall experience for guests. Additionally, one of the bedrooms on the lower level lacked adequate storage space, as it was missing a dresser.A significant issue we encountered was the presence of roaches throughout the house. Despite efforts from management to address this with an exterminator, the problem persisted, detracting from our comfort and enjoyment of the property.

Family Reunion August 2024

Amazing house! Been coming to OBX for 5yrs now and each house we’ve rented was nice but never lived up to its photos online. THIS HOUSE, however, goes above and beyond what you see online. Photos don’t do it justice. We had 16 people in our group and 1 dog. Plently of room in the home for everyone to be comfy. Never an overcrowded feeling. Excellent views of the ocean and pier. Sizable kitchen with huge island. Pool was a great way to unwind after the beach. House is well stocked with silverware, plates, dishes, pots/pans, some spices, coffee filters, etc. so arrive and them decide what you’ll need to buy. ROKU device on all TVs. Wifi a bit slow, but who cares, We were on the beach. Easy parking for 6-8 vehicles. Just a few issues we if we HAD to nit-pick. 1: The grill (grease) needs to be cleaned more often. We had a small grease fire I had to throw sand on to put out. We cleaned the grill out and used it again that evening. 2: Some of the boards around the pool decking are warping upwards and could pose a hazard. 3: The throw rugs throughout the home need to be cleaned. Or thrown out. The place doesn’t really need them IMO. 4: The front grassy area of the house needs to be mowed and weedwhacked. Could be a nice spot for dog walk area. All-in-all still a 10 in my book. Would absolutely stay there again. Or live there forever haha.

21st Family Trip

Reviewer Comments: We found the house to be very spacious and accommodated our group of 13 well. 5 teenagers and 8 adults. The pool area was a bit small for us but it is standard for the area. Great location on the beach and wonderful views. The sand dune directly in front of the house required us to do daily pool cleaning, luckily 2 people were well versed so we were able to keep the pool clean. There were plently of bathroom towels but no kitchen towels. There were some cleaning supplies so that was nice since we like to stay tidy. We had lots of problems with the TVs. Simply gave up on the main room TV. I think the remote wasn't paired well. We found the house to be basically clean but it could use a deep cleaning, baseboards, behind doors window sills etc. Liked the extra fridge in the lower level and wine cooler and ice maker in the bar area. We had to thaw the ice maker to get it started but then it was great.
