Comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed. We stayed there two years in a row while attending a swim meet at Kenyon College. Perfect spot to relax in-between being at the pool.

Outstanding

This home was above and beyond other VRBO's we've stayed at. Hot tub was wonderful, beds and pillows heavenly. Plenty of supplies, even spices. Will definitely come back but stay longer!

Great get away

House was clean and well equipped. We had a blast with our family and hope to go back again. Only thing to note is that there doesn’t seem to be an easy/safe way to hop on the multi use trail by foot or bike, cars traveling on all roads surrounding the home are traveling at high speeds.

Late Valentines Day getaway

The home was absolutely beautiful! Cleanliness was 5 Star! Accessibility was very easy. Ease of booking was great! The style and comfort of the home was really cozy. Location to local destinations was ideal. Hot tub was a HUGE plus! The home had all the things we needed for our stay. Would HIGHLY recommend for a couple or family. Plenty of room!

Beautiful Home

The property was so elegant for the area. Cute and clean and we were one of the first to stay at the property based off the tags and smell of the home. We did have to get a few supplies like trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper for our stay though because there wasn’t enough for the length of our stay. We loved the beds and the couch was so comfortable. We enjoyed our stay while visiting family in town!

Quiet Retreat

The home was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We arrived late and were happy to see the lights were on so we didn't have to walk into dark, unfamiliar house. The host was great at responding to a problem with the hot tub and immediately fixed the problem.

This was a wonderful experience! The house was completely redone inside and everything was so new! Great setting. It was set up nicely for our family of 7. Ages 1-16

The inside of the house was spacious and accommodating for our family.The bug zapper in the kitchen by the dining room table wasn’t too inviting. We also noticed ant traps meaning there is a problem with them too.The outside of the house needed work. We had to run the clean cycle 3 times before using the hot tub. The porch and deck needed cleaned and the home needs pressure washed. The window sills were dirty and many cobwebs. We also had to clean the grill before use.Positively, we liked the close proximity to Mohican, the beautiful wooded setting, and comfortable sleeping arrangements.
We didn’t enjoy the bug zapper and ant trap right next to the dining room table.
Concrete driveway is in bad condition- cracked and broken
Dirty windowsills House needs pressure washed outside. Porch and back deck too.

Peaceful Retreat

Over all we had a nice stay. The bed was very comfortable, the master bath shower was nice and big, and it was a peaceful property. It was also pet friendly, which was very important to us as well. One suggestion when it works out for the owner is to build a cover over the back deck. Therefore, you don't have to worry about ticks and bugs falling in your hair or the hot tub since the tree branches hang over the deck. And just another suggestion - it would have been handy to have more kitchen towels and cloths and a couple of wine glasses would of been nice too.

The basics were not provided such as toilet paper and paper towels. The premises were not clean. Extra sheets were strewn loosely on the floors of the closets. In one such pile were found someone’s underwear. The owner was contacted and had little regard for our concerns. This was a trip for my daughter’s graduation. I will not recommend this to anyone else.Very unhappy

Great place, perfect for families!

My husband and I rented this house over Thanksgiving. That way, we could be close to where our family lives in Gambier. We didn't have the time to take advantage of the home (ie. hot tub) but we was perfectly fine place to sleep after long days with family. It was a very nice home, perfectly clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. They had an attached garage which is very nice too. We brought our dog and he liked it too. The neighborhood was cute, and great for walking my dog around the sidestreets, lots of deer out in the early morning. The street that the house is located on is a little busy and cars drive down it pretty fast. Also, the house backs up right into the woods, so there isn't much of a backyard, but they do have a kids playhouse and log teepee - which would be fun for little ones. Overall, we loved the place, but the stairs on the inside of the house were different heights and depths, so I would not recommend this home for senior citizens. But if you're younger or middle-aged, just be careful, and you'll be fine.
