TRANQUILLO – you will never want to leave!
ARRIVAL
Right from the front entrance, the property is dramatic. The 250-metre stone-walled driveway is designed to create a sense of arrival as it rises towards the pool’s infinity-edge waterfall and the imposing structure.
The landscape has been sculptured into accessible, flat terraces with rock retaining walls (all sourced from within the property). The contrast of the manicured lawn and garden beds with the wild natural rock and bush is stunning.
The driveway continues past the large parking area around to the back door so that groceries, luggage, etc., do not need to be lugged up any stairs.
The two main timbers used, spotted gum and ironbark, are two of the most durable timbers in the world and fire-resistant, particularly with the oversized dimensions of the floorboards and pillars. The effect of more than forty 200 mm x 200 mm hardwood pillars is powerful and timeless. The craftsmanship in the hand-made windows and doors is extraordinary.
Earth, Air & Water features a zinc roof, sturdy hardwood structure, wooden veranda railings and dowels, castle-thick hand-rendered walls, wide floorboards, oversized skirting boards, picture rails, ceiling fans, original ceiling roses, big pavers, granite surfaces, stainless steel fittings, uninterrupted view windows, timber louvres, neutral tiles, LED lighting, self-cleaning gutters, and extended eaves. These themes resonate throughout the building.
ENTRANCE
A grand garden staircase leads to the front entrance door, integrated into a double helix timber staircase to create visual drama. The double helix staircase is like the DNA of the house. The outside treads lead to an open deck upstairs, while the inside leads to the entertainment area.
FORMAL LOUNGE
The lounge room is generous and features a large fireplace and uninterrupted ocean views from the picture windows. For convenience, the ashes can be neatly swept down a chute to the basement.
DINING ROOM
The formal dining room abuts the kitchen. It has an amazing view over the pool and gardens towards the ocean. There is a huge dining table that seats 12 people. You will enjoy the unique multi-coloured lighting from the pelmets.
THE MAIN DECK
The main deck features a generous table with a dozen seats, and you enjoy the best pool setting, bush landscape, and ocean background. The barbeque is on this deck, and by opening the huge kitchen window, you can create an outside kitchen with access to benches and sinks.
KITCHEN/CASUAL DINING
The kitchen is spacious with new appliances: two fan-forced ovens, an induction stove, gas rings, a wok burner, a microwave, and a dishwasher. The exhaust is vented outside. There is an appliance/breakfast bar for the toaster jug, blender, etc. that neatly hides behind double doors. A large breakfast table is integrated into the kitchen area. There is lots of storage in the kitchen, but an additional pantry room offers even more.
LAUNDRY
The laundry is close to the kitchen, and the sun-facing line, mostly under the eaves, is just outside the laundry door next to the equally accessible herb garden.

Crescent Head’s weather is amongst the most temperate in the world.
“The Track” on Crescent Head’s main beach is recognized as a National Surfing Reserve, and the long right-hander is claimed to be the Malibu capital of Australia. Close by, there are other, often-deserted point breaks and numerous beach breaks. With a population of under 2000, the overcrowding of Byron Bay, Noosa, the Gold Coast, or Sydney is a million miles away.
There are various quality fishing options, including tidal creeks, beaches, rocks, and open water. The pristine sites for scuba diving include the world-famous “Cave Rock”, just off South West Rocks, with gutters teeming with grey nurse sharks.
Port Macquarie Airport is about 40 minutes away.
The Freeway from Sydney is now complete, and Crescent Head is about 4 hour's drive from Hornsby.
As we continue to perfect the property, photos will be updated as every room is completed. While we do not advertise the property for events, we will consider events/weddings, etc., on application.
