Bedford Cabin Getaway

The cabin was beautifully done, very private, and had gorgeous views of the mountains from the front porch. The location was excellent both in terms of being close to downtown Bedford and to hiking trails. Great stay!

A slice of heaven

We were looking for a place close to the parkway to celebrate our 29th anniversary. The setting of this cabin was perfect. It felt secluded, even though we were close to everything we needed. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out.

Wonderful Weekend Stay

We loved everything about this cabin. The secluded location, the views, the wonderful state of the cabin inside was so inviting. We are already looking to find a way to come back as soon as we can! The little touches from the hosts were also so great. What a great hidden gem, close to Bedford and also within reach of Lynchburg!

Wonderful Stay!!

What a great property this is! The cabin was cozy, well kept, and perfectly secluded away from everything. Star gazing out here is a must!! We also enjoyed the fire place and it’s customizable colors and the view from the front porch in the morning. The sweet treats provided upon checkout were an excellent plus as well. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely book here!

Beautiful Rustic (but new) cabin getaway

The cabin was everything it was advertised as. Sitting on top of a hill with 360 degree view of the sunset and mountains along with the starry night sky, it was a great couple of nights to getaway. The cabin was very clean and had everything to make our stay very relaxing. The Blue Ridge Parkway was not far and made for a great day trip among the turning fall foliage.

The cabin itself was very rustic with hand hewn lumber all over including some of the furniture. On the other hand, all appliances were state of the art and the decor was both eclectic and elegant. The surroundings were very peaceful, beautiful and had abundant wildlife to watch.

Can’t wait to go back!

The log cabin was a delightful surprise and a wonderful break from the noise and busy-ness of life. We loved sitting on the porch watching geese fly overhead, cows in the distance, and beautiful sunsets with the mountains in the background. The cabin is cozy and comfortable, and beautifully decorated. (Be sure to ask for detailed driving directions, our GPS couldn’t find it! We called Dennis and he talked us through finding the cabin until we arrived.)
