Cute little cabin with an amazing view! The location is absolutely perfect for getting away from the crowds. The cabin has everything you need, the host did a great job with communication and will definitely book with them again if we are ever out in the area.

Loved this place! When it comes to cleanliness, keep in mind this place is in the woods; there were a few little spider friends in the corners lol. Otherwise, there really wasn't a speck of dust anywhere! Overall, the place is as advertised and was the perfect little getaway for our 10 year wedding anniversary! We mostly stayed at the cabin enjoying all the streaming services on the TV, having a drink by the river, and relaxing in the hot tub. Would absolutely stay here again 10/10 recommend!

lovely area and very secure, gravel roads after turning off hwy2 were a little confusing at first especially at night so just pay extra attention. my partner and I really enjoyed our stay, everything was as expected and the host was responsive when we had a question.

The cabin was perfect for my stay visiting family in the area. The place was clean, the view was great. I especially loved the little walkway down to the water. I will definitely look to book Stargazer Studio again!

From the minute we walked in the door and spied the rushing river beyond the deck, the Oh’s and Ah’s continued throughout our stay. We loved the cabin and views so much that we didn’t leave it until the 2nd day.The cabin was immaculate and well stocked. Being sensitive to chemicals, I especially appreciated the natural soaps and fragrance free sheets. The bed was so comfortable. The scenery was inviting and gorgeous. The long private road in this gate-secured community had many potholes, but driving very slowly made it manageable. It was lovely looking out at the remaining snow on the mountains.

Pros:-private beach on the river-STUNNING views!-clean, cozy, ample-sized cabin-jacuzzi hot tub-waking up to the sound of the river -so many large windows-the fireplace was delightful -close to hikes and a grocer -fully functional kitchenCons:-acorns fall on the tin roof early in the AM (this may be a seasonal thing?)-the water smells slightly like sulfur, but is potable and you stop noticing it after a while -automatic lock on the back porch door! thank goodness i'd memorized the code for the front door cuz otherwise we would've locked ourselves out late at night trying to head outside to look at the moon and stars-visible neighbors (hard to tell from the listing)-you have to climb a ladder to get into the loft and the bed up there is small; not a super big deal, but requires you to be able-bodied

Perfect Weekend Get Away

The Stargazer Studio was wonderful! We had a relaxing weekend away from the hustle of life. The view from the hot tub is gorgeous. Would definitely go there again! The host was very responsive and helpful.

This was the most perfect little mountain cabin anyone could ever dream for. This was a solo trip for me to just unwind and reset and everything about this cabin was made for comfort. The hot tub, the wood burning fire stove, the comfy sofa, the incredibly comfy bed…. And then the view. Oh those views!

Nice cozy cabin

We had a nice relaxing weekend at this cozy little cabin. It was clean and had everything we needed. We did lose power due to a storm the first night but had plenty of firewood to keep us warm until it came back on. Gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and the river from the large deck.

Hi Patrick! We're sorry to hear this wasn't the PNW getaway you hoped for at Stargazer Studio. We're disappointed in the weather as well - being local hosts, we were equally impacted with the power outages and lack of water from frozen pipes. Subzero temperatures are very new to us out here and it's unfortunate that weather circumstances uncontrollable to us as hosts causes decreased guest ratings. We're always looking for recommendations on how to improve our property or guest experiences... we're at a loss.

Wonderful cabin in Index with view

My partner and I stayed at this cabin for 3 days. The view from the deck was absolutely amazing and we loved the inside of the cabin. The owner has extra fans + heaters + appliances to regulate the temperature of the cabin year round. The host has a lot of signage, booklets and information which we found to be helpful for the jacuzzi, fire pit, and for check-in/check-out procedures. I would recommend bringing bug spray + citronella candles for enjoying the deck and jacuzzi. We didn’t see any in the cabin and bought some to help us better enjoy the outdoor areas. I would recommend this cabin!

Beautiful view

Overall enjoyed stay. Would say the photos are accurate but the photographer does make the inside look a bit more glamorous, but overall it was clean and comfortable so no real issue with that once settled. I would note you can’t flush toilet paper, you have to put it into trash bin which I didn’t really like that. Also the hot tub itself was amazing but without a step stool I required assistance to get in and out as I’m short. Would recommend a step stool / step for a safer transfer. Also would recommend mosquito spray and fly swatter as you are living with the nature and its bugs. The view was remarkable and the couch was very comfortable when we wanted to relax to watch a movie. they supply coffee which is great but if you’re a creamer fan I would recommend bringing your own! overall we enjoyed our stay. Be sure to read the instructions they text you (not send via VRBO) BEFORE you go into no service zone as you will need this to be able to get through the security gates and into the home. I hope this was all helpful for the next guest! Enjoy!!
