Excellent

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The home was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Having golf right outside was such a highlight, and we loved being able to enjoy the course during our stay. The location offered both peace and convenience, and the host's quick communication made everything simple. It truly felt like the ideal place to combine relaxation with time on the greens.

Wonderful Property

Shades of Summer was an excellent property. The kitchen was fully stocked and the condo had anything you could ask for. The Gulf Coast team quickly answered any questions we had and were very helpful. The golf courses and other facilities was great. We would definitely stay here again. Also would use Gulf Coast again.

The communication with the managing agent was not great. We got a message that we needed to give a carpet cleaning company access after day 2 (clearly from previous stay) and requested an alternative day to the one suggested and never heard back.

Mixed Review

The overall stay was mixed. First the property manager did not contact the resort community, thus we not able to use the amenities for the first two days. We did receive a very small refund but it did not make up for this issue. The house was clean a decorated well, however the house smelled like old fish. We used 6 cans of air fresheners but it never got rid of the smell entirely. Lastly there was a hole in the ceiling of the entry way which made a lot of noise when the wind was blowing. Overall the community was excellent. The amenities were great!

Location and layout were great. Appliances, electrical and plumbing were in working order. Furniture was great. We however had one huge issue. On Monday, our second day, at 11:23 AM we received a text informing us that carpet cleaners were coming that day. I texted back that it was not convenient as we had no warning. We were already on our way to golf. We were given no choice in the matter and told not to worry they would let themselves in. We had our dog with us we also had left valuables out in plain sight. We were not about to risk our dog being let loose so we had to cancel our tee time last minute and return. I requested an arrival time as we also had plans that evening. They said they would be there at 2:00. They did not come until 4:30 and despite requests we had no updated notifications. We had to cancel our evening plans. This resulted in a stressful and quite upsetting start to our vacation. We were very uncomfortable with the lack of security as the third parties had codes to enter whenever. The linens and bedding were not great. The towels and sheets are old and dingy. No towels were put out for our arrival. The Master bedroom had only one lamp, the living room one so no reading light The kitchen was well equipped. The screen porches were great The kitchen was well equipped. Cleaning was sub par old kleenexes and dust balls under the beds. We would cautiously recommend. Deficiencies would be easily rectified

Hello Patricia, I am so sorry to hear you had a less than pleasurable experience with Lakewood National. Unfortunately, we are not affiliated with them in any way. Lakewood National's rules state that passes can only be given to a married couple and children under 18 (one family unit). If your daughter is over that age, they would not have provided it as it is against their rules. I do apologize that you had some issues but we do hope you enjoyed the condo we manage and hope to see you next time. -Gulf Coast Property Management
