Great getaway

We stayed just over the weekend for two days when we arrived the house was very clean. The living room has a nice size tv and very comfortable seating. The kitchen was very nice and the filtered water system was great. The bedrooms where just what we needed very comfortable and provided the relaxing getaway we needed

We were in the area for a funeral and this was perfect for what we needed. The host was amazing. It was private enough we were comfortable letting our kids play in the yard. But close enough to Omaha. Perfect. Everything was stocked well. Beds were so comfortable! Water pressure was perfect. My only major suggestion would be for a baby gate for the stairs going to the main level. We managed to block the steps with the recliner so our toddler couldn't get up there. Other than that is was great for the days we were there.

Perfect, peaceful getaway!

My 4 children and I stayed here mid July and absolutely loved the property, the owner’s hospitality and the location. We were a stone’s throw from everything we wanted to do in Omaha and close enough to Blair to check out a pool and other restaurants. The property has a playset for the littles and walking paths with beautiful views. Darlene provided everything we could possibly ask for in our stay! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. 10/10 would recommend!

A comfortable stay down under

We enjoyed our time at the this basement apartment. It was clean, spacious, warm (we were there at yearend) and well-stocked. Darlene and James were great hosts, checking in with us before and during our stay and as we were departing. And the location was perfect for our long weekend plans - less than a 1/2 hour to downtown Omaha and the Henry Doorly Zoo, and less than an hour from Preparation Canyon and the Loess Hills Scenic Byway.

Lovely country setting

The hosts were amazingly responsive and welcoming. Cute and spacious. I could work remotely (good wifi) and had plenty of time to visit family. Close to Omaha. I will be back.

Exactly what we needed

My husband and I were in the area for a family funeral. We had planned to stay in a hotel but found this apartment at the last minute. We are so glad we did. It was just what we needed-comfort, location, price, & hospitality of the hosts. Communication was top notch, prompt and friendly. The apt was a home away from home. So comfortable especially after the stress of our trip. Clean, spacious, quiet, close to highway and easy access to neighboring communities. I will definitely stay here again. Highly reccommend.

Simply Perfect!

This place was just what we needed to prepare for our Son's wedding. We were 13 hours from home with so much prep to do. We did not get to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked because we were so busy with wedding things. This home gave everyone plenty of room to gather and visit. We are a large family and they accommodated everything we needed. The kitchen is very large and was much appreciated to prep wedding foods and cake! We will be staying here again when we come to visit the kids. Thanks so much for the best home away from home and all of the extra adds that made it extra special. See you soon!

This property is a basement unit with the owners living above. It is large and expansive with plenty of room. It was a delight to find decaf Keurig pods already available! For folks traveling with young people, there is a big yard, plenty of games and toys, and a small playset. They also have plenty of comfort-items for use: blankets, fans, and more!The travel distance was really pleasant (20 minutes to either North Omaha, or to the interstate).I was traveling for business purposes and the wifi service was limited, so I used my hotspot for my needs. I typically prefer a single occupancy short-term rental, to avoid living noises from other occupants (different bedtime schedules, footstep noise, animals, etc.), but choices were limited due to College World Series overlapping with my trip.

Nice place just outside of town. It was like visiting grandparents house. A little dated but full of anything you need including some staple foods. Occasional noise from airplanes and upstairs but not bad. Great value for the price.
