Inside, warm honeyed-oak ceilings frame a cozy living space complete with a fireplace, stunning views, and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Enjoy high-end features like a newly installed Level 2 Tesla charger alongside easy access to nearby dining, shopping, and outdoor adventures in Bryson City and Cherokee. Whether you're relaxing indoors or exploring the surrounding Smokies, Sunset Nook offers the perfect blend of luxury and convenience—book your stay today!

Location: Alarka, Bryson City- 4WD/AWD required. Not motorcycle friendly.

o 25 minutes to Cherokee’s Harrah Casino
o 15 minutes to Great Smoky Mountain Railroad
o 25 minutes to Nantahala Outdoor Center
o 1 hour and 30 minutes from Gatlinburg

This is a beautiful house - it looks brand new! It was so comfortable, with plenty of room. We really enjoyed staying here. We have stayed in places that every footstep echoed, this house was nice and solid. We have stayed in places that seemed to be in the country but were actually in a suburb, this house really was up on a mountain side. Watching the clouds pass through the valley, listening to the Eastern Screech Owl in the trees - WOW!

Million dollar view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view alone is worth the trip up the mountains! The house is great, comfortable & spacious! I wish the deck and outdoor areas had more shade - it was HOT which prevented us from lounging on the gorgeous deck. We plan on coming back during cooler months to enjoy the outdoor features the house has to offer. Overall, we had a great stay and plan on coming back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was very nice! The views however, better! I do recommend a AWD or 4wd getting to it. I needed it in my 2500HD, couldn't catch traction without it. Do not let deter you, it's not a terrible track. The cabin overall was amazing, saying that, I feel like the cleaners are substandard. The rules states made me believe I was arriving to a 5 star cabin when in reality the cleaning needed to be upscaled tremendously!

A View for Days

I’m an avid backpacker and can attest the views from the house rival many you see on trail. The cabin is a quick hop to Bryson City and Silva; both with ample breweries and shopping. Definitely worth a stay!

Mountain top paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a beautiful house we stayed in, not far from Bryson City. Everything seemed new. Spacious and relaxing. Loved that there were TWO king beds. The only issue was on the last day, we had no water. Best guess was the pipes froze since it was so cold the night before. However you would think that the pipes would be better insulated if one was renting in December. No showers, teeth brushing or pottying(three small boys) made the last day very challenging. When we called the emergency number, no one answered. When we finally got a hold of someone in the office, their response was - well we have no control over the weather.
