Located just 27 minutes away from Rotorua and its exciting attractions like the Redwood Forest, Gondola Luge, bike tracks, and jet boating, this place is a paradise for nature lovers. You'll find a hot natural local pool just 5 minutes away by car or 10 minutes by boat, making it a boatie's dream.

Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the nearby fishing spots, but a fishing license is required, which can be conveniently purchased at the local petrol station. If you're up for some kayaking, there's one available for use.

The surrounding natural beauty allows you to wake up to the delightful sounds of birds. If you need to grab a bite or refuel, the nearest cafe, takeaways, and petrol station are just a short 10-minute drive away.
This is a Tiny House with 2 lofts, 1 with double bed and 1 two seater couch that can open up for a child. There is also a couch which will open downstairs. Because of the ladder and stairs this is not suitable for people with mobility issues and children under 5 yrs of age.
Linen is provided, and smoking is not allowed inside. Sorry no dogs.

We stayed for long weekend the property was cozy and had everything you need for break away. The lake beach is at your door step with awesome views. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and lent us kayaks to use on the lake that was a high light of trip. The location is beautiful. We would definitely stay again.

The tiny house was a perfect get away for us.We had a lovely sunset view over the lake when we arrived which was framed beautifully by the mezzanine floor round window. The bedroom half of the mezzanine floor was cozy and warm with a nice small staircase leading up to it. The other side was accessed via a pull out ladder. The kitchen / lounge area was ample space for two and we had everything we needed to be able to self cater / make meals. The advantage of the tiny house is on the cooler nights it was easy to warm up with the heater provided. The bathroom was well set out and the shower had excellent pressure. Pam & Nev were lovely hosts checking in with us as we arrived and as we were on our way out they even accommodated an extra night stay.

We had a very peaceful two-night stay at this tiny house property. Pam was a host to meet, the property is alongside the family home but you have your privacy. Lake Rotoiti is just across the road. Yes it is tiny, so best to be prepared for that experience: but as a couple we had no problems fitting in, it’s very well designed. Fantastic water pressure and hot water at the end of long days out and about (always a personal favourite for us!)

Amazing Stay

We felt very welcome from Pam and Nev, they went above and beyond to make our stay something to remember. The area is quiet and beautiful. The tiny house was super cozy and quirky, we loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at the tiny home -it is charming with many homemade touches.House was clean & warm, and shower was good.It is in beautiful surroundings close to the beach.The loft bed requires some agility but we are in our late 60's & managed fine.Natural hot pools 5min drive down the road were a highlight.

100% faultless. The accommodation was a highlight on our already exciting trip., very well thought out spacial efficiency(see fun ladders and hatches) fully appointed, even interesting games/ent fir if rainy.? Incredible shower pressure!The location is awesome! Enjoy beautiful picturesque lake and forrest views just steps away on the lakeside. Little house adventure

What an amazing place. The position is perfect. Just a few metres from the lake. The house is compact and cosy but has everything you could need. And if it hasn’t then Pam your host will help you. We stayed 3 nights and hope to visit again before our return to the UK. One of the best places we have stayed in. Photos don’t do it justice.

The perfect spot

This gorgeous tiny home had everything we needed. Heater for winter, all cooking facilities and the most incredible view! It's quiet, but close enough to Rotorua. Pam and Neville are fantastic. So warming and welcoming. If we needed anything, they were happy to help. If you're wanting to escape for a weekend or longer, this is the place to do it. A coffee on the lake front in the morning... it's just bliss. Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back!
