What a cute place to stay! Decorated in vibrant colors, very well stocked kitchen, fun snacks, cute fridge, great ‘hang out’ to kick back & relax. We loved the location, very quiet, great coffee houses nearby, phenomenal Italian restaurant just steps away. Only a short drive to the heart of the city. Our host was extremely responsive and helped with any questions we had. Highly recommend Val’s place if you’re ever needing a stay over in Cleveland!

Overall the location was very convenient to all forms of entertainment, the place was very nice they worked with the space very well. I'd say the only reason why I gave it a 4 was the constant noise from above us and the ceiling were so low that as a 5'9 person I was constantly ducking and dodging corners, regardless of signage. This is something you can only do so much about .So if you're 5'9 or shorter this is a great vacation rental!

The whole experience was phenomenal! Communication was proactive and there was no issue with parking or navigating the entrance to the property. Once inside, everything was so clean and well decorated and had all the amenities you could ask for! Great location and great hosts!

Fabulous hidden gem! Conveniently close to everything! Host was very nice, and thoughtful with amenities. The studio is located in a basement with a private entry. We even had our very own conceirge (Salt, their dog) walk us to our door. He was very sweet and hospitable! It’s exactly as the pictures show! You can hear footsteps from upstairs, but there are complementary ear plugs and a sound machine if you are a light sleeper (my friend and I had absolutely no trouble sleeping without using these amenities!). It was our first visit to Cleveland, and we can’t wait to come back and book this space again!

This place is beautifully decorated with plenty of space for our family. The location couldn’t be more perfect! Within walking distance to Gordon Square. The host, Valerie was great and added so many extras and small personalized touches. Great space, we will be back!

Clean, cute, fun place!

Place was extremely well set up when we arrived. Lots of fun amenities and very thoughtful set up with guests in mind. Every detail was thoroughly thought out. The set up itself was so cute. Fun colors and unique decor. Loved every second of our stay here and cannot wait for our next Cleveland trip! Owner was extremely kind and answered every text in a timely manner. If I could I’d do 10/5 stars!

We stayed for two nights. The place was perfect. The location was perfect. Only thing I would change in the listing is that parking on the street is best unless you have a small car. This is no problem. The area is very safe. Communication was great! Will definitely stay there again

Lovely basement apartment

We had an amazing stay at this funky, vibrant basement apartment. It is clear there was love and intentional effort put into this space, and the host has thought about all of the little details. Onsite parking was a bonus for us; although it’s a narrow driveway so large vehicles would need to use free street parking (our car fit fine). The area was walkable and felt safe. We used RTA transit seamlessly from this apartment to travel into downtown Cleveland for a Browns game and other activities. The host provided us with a thoughtful list of restaurant recommendations and went above and beyond to help us celebrate our first year wedding anniversary. Communication was prompt and professional. The unit had all of the amenities we needed and more, including a kitchenette and laundry. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment or stay there again. Thanks again to our fantastic host!! Note: Blue Habanero restaurant is less than a 10-minute walk away from this apartment and it was amazing.

First anniversary stay

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our first anniversary in Cleveland. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. If I have to nit pick, I'd say the sticky notes were...abundant. However, it didn't detract from the feel of the suite. The 60s and 70s fashion magazines were very cool to look through and see what the styles were back then. There was an overwhelming amount of consideration put into this stay. There were snacks and coffee for 2 in the kitchen, free supplies that you may have forgotten like toothpaste and razors, free laundry on site, board games (might I recommend adding a deck of cards?), and a smart TV for the end of the night. We loved the park down the street for mornings walks with coffee. Plenty of paved sidewalks for things like bicycles or strollers. My wife fell in love with the "small town down town" a 3 or 4 blocks down the street. Salt was also my favorite part and I wish there was a request more time with him. There were chargers for all types of devices on site as well which we loved as we both forgot our chargers. The owners communication was great, and she sent me VERY clear instructions the morning of my trip that went over EVERY question I might've had. Overall, we truthfully enjoyed ourselves.

It’s next on my shopping list :-) I’m so glad you and your wife enjoyed your stay in our little piece of Cleveland here on the west side. It truly is one of my favorite neighborhoods I’ve ever lived in, and I am even more appreciative that you both (among many other guests) have also taken notice of the details and hard work we put into our cozy space to ensure as much comfort and accommodation as possible. We look forward to hosting you both again soon in the future on your next trip to the near West side!If anything, you are always more than welcome to spend a few hours with our husky Shepherd Salt.
