Great central location, one street back from the beach.

The house is very close to the beach, a quick 1 minute walk, and within walking distance to the town, cafes and shopping. A short 4 minute stroll away is our famous 'Horizon' Crystal ball, perfect for the Sunset selfie. The beach in front of the house has a great swimming/snorkeling spot and it's a quick 10 minute walk to AJ's beach cafe for a coffee or some breakfast. Bed 1 has a huge king size bed, Bed 2 has 2 singles. All rooms have ceiling fans and there is an air-con in the lounge and the main bedroom. There is a huge 65 inch Smart TV, plus games, books and puzzles for entertainment. Unlimited WIFI and a charging station will help you keep in touch. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and coffee plunger plus a front deck and back patio, both with outdoor dining. Enjoy the ocean views and hear the waves from the back patio while you BBQ. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and iron. Please note that the toilet is separate from the bathroom and located away from the main bedroom, near the laundry. Please note: price shown only includes the main bed. There will be an extra $20 charge per bed required.

Neat, clean and a great spot

The place is so clean and tidy. Had everything we needed for the weekend and a great location. Right near the beach fo a walk or kids to scooter.

Great stay

Was an absolute beautiful property. Beds are comfortable, property was very clean. It had everything you need for your stay plus more. My only complaint is that online when i booked it stated it slept 5 but had changed to 4. Christine still let us keep our booking and it also stated their was a spa but didnt have 1, nothing major and it didnt affect our stay at all.

Great place

We enjoyed our stay at Christine's place very much. The place was super clean, very close to the ocean, had everything we needed, and was quiet. The two covered porches in front and back were great - we rarely went out since we enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the sea breeze so much. Communication with the host was great.

Perfect getaway

Lovely home for our family holiday. The place was clean and comfortable with aircon and a breeze. A backyard for the kids to play and lovely outdoor areas for an afternoon drink with the sea breeze blowing through. So close to the beach too.

Nice location by the shore

We enjoyed our stay here. We liked how close it was to the beach, but it was also close to the main roads to get to town for dinner or a few groceries. There was plenty of space for the three of us. The house was very warm when we arrived and there isn't an AC unit in the smaller bedroom, so the first might was a little uncomfortable. By our second day the space had cooled off enough that we could sleep comfortably.

Adequate but did not match the reviews

The photographs and reviews on vrbo flattered this property. Consequently we were disappointed when first entering the house. However our stay was comfortable.We found the layout of the house difficult as the toilet was so far from the bedroom and bathroom - in fact it seemed that it had once been outside and an extension has brought it into the property. For anyone needing to use the toilet during the night this is problematic.There were several dirty cooking dishes that needed cleaning before they could be used.The location was good for able bodied people - we walked into the city but it was over a mile one way to the marina and over another mile to visit the recommended sites (cathedral, HMS Sydney memorial etc). On the other hand it was close to the local beach access (very little beach at high tide).We recommend the Museum of Geraldton and Skeetas restaurant on the marina.
