Hot tub and grill were great. The living space is expansive and very comfortable. Loved the heated bathroom floor and the living room fireplace! Ideal location for day trips to white water rafting, hiking, and even hot springs. Great restaurants in Golden too.

House is beautiful! Very quiet area close to gondola. Hot tub In back yard, very private. Our family had a very relaxing 4 day stay. Would definitely recommend to stay at this property for summer or winter.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Gunners Lodge for a weekend in July. The place had lots of space, comfortable beds, and was very clean. The BBQ made it easy to cook supper, and we enjoyed using the hot tub everyday. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying at this home to anyone visiting the Golden area!

We had such a great stay! Christina and Adam were very welcoming. The house was beautiful and very well equipped with everything and more than we needed. The location was perfect for a ski-in/ski-out accommodations. We had such a great time skiing and enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evenings.

Amazing ski getaway

Beautiful lodging, cozy and spatious. Had everything needed for a relaxing getaway, including fun games for the evening. True ski in ski out, one of the runs leads right to the backyard / hot tub. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic find! Beautiful home with all the accessories and a hot tub. Beds are just as described. One private bedroom, plenty of space in the rooms with multiple beds. True ski in ski out. Boot dryers, spacious ski locker room and a quick few steps up to “Bail Out” which runs down to pioneer lift or the gondola. Never had to contact the host because everything was perfect.

Ski Vacation

Gunners Lodge is well situated with easy access to the hill. The house was well equipped for all our needs. We had enough room for all of us to hang out in the living room and kitchen after a good ski day. All the beds were comfy. Would definitely visit again.

Gunners Lodge was exceptionally clean, well appointed and comfortable. We had a wonderful ski vacation with extended family and found the accommodations offered enough space and privacy to really enjoy our time. We cooked large and somewhat complex meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed. The ski in/out was very much appreciated by my husband and I, however access was a short steep climb in the back yard followed by a bit of a flat skate to the hill. The 70 members of our party did not feel comfortable with this ski and it was difficult for our young son. Communication with the host was clear and easy, with all questions answered in a timely fashion. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy week with amazing skiing and mountain views.

This listing is absolutely beautiful! The listing is in a quiet neighborhood ( a little bit further out of town than I thought). But the views made it so worth it. Communication with the host was top notch and the bottle of wine and chocolates that she left us was such a nice surprise after a long road trip. Would definitely recommend this listing esp if you’re a skier.

40th Birthday with family

Had a wonderful Aug long weekend at Gunner’s Lodge! Beautiful, clean and well stocked home. Perfect for making memories together in the mountains. The owners thought of everything for their guests. Was baby proofed for the 10 month old. Lots of games to play. Loved the hot tub and sitting out on the deck. Every utensil you could need. Felt like a home away from home. Would love to stay again someday! Owners were very responsive to messages and questions.

My wife and I met up with our three kids and their spouses for a family get together (July 2026). We had a great time and enjoyed the property! There were plenty of bathrooms and everything we needed from a hot tub, fireplace, a beautiful sunrise balcony, and all the appliances that one could need. They even had a can of bear spray which we took with us wherever we went – but never needed it! But the fact that it was there, and it was there for us to use speaks to the attention to detail for the property. Communicating with Chrissy the host was easy and she was very responsive to any of our questions. The location is fantastic - away from all the crowds, and up a little higher in elevation so a little cooler during the summer and we absolutely loved the close proximity to Kicking Horse Resort. We took the gondola to the top and ate at the restaurant and had an amazing time making lots of great memories! The fact that we could walk down from the house to the gondola and take it to the top was pretty cool! The house faces the east so each morning we were treated with a beautiful sunrise. Did we have a great time? Yes!

Our stay in the Golden mountain chalet was perfect. We enjoyed the spacious living areas, deck with hot tub and bbq, and well-equipped cooking area! Our group quickly became comfortable with our accommodations and the home provided a wonderful base while we explored the Golden area over the course of 4 days! We would gladly stay at this chalet another time and highly recommend this listing to anyone interested in visiting the Golden area in style!
