Il n'y a pas de mots pour décrire notre coin de paradis sur Bald Head Island! Notre maison entièrement rénovée a tout pour plaire! Le plan d'étage grand ouvert offre cinq chambres et 4 salles de bain complètes sur un seul niveau! Nous avons de superbes vues imprenables sur l'océan Atlantique, apprécions les bruits des vagues qui clapotent sur le sable comme si vous vous teniez sur la plage, et avez un accès à la plage directement en face. Sur le pont arrière, nous surplombons un magnifique lagon sur le parcours de golf gagnant de George Cobb. Chaque chambre est entièrement décorée avec un designer professionnel. La nouvelle cuisine gastronomique est bien approvisionnée pour toutes vos envies culinaires. La cuisine a une porte en verre de style garage permettant l'accès de la cuisine au bar extérieur. Un porche écran spacieux et un espace salle à manger ouvert jouxte le bar. Ce bar / salle à manger en plein air surplombe le parcours de golf pour une expérience culinaire spectaculaire. Nous aimons le plein air et c'est l'une des nombreuses caractéristiques de notre maison que nous aimons. Nous vous proposons 2 voiturettes de golf à votre disposition (4 et 6 places), et de nombreux équipements de plage pour toute la famille! L'adhésion au BHI Club avec privilèges de golf est disponible pour un achat séparé et peut être réservée avant votre arrivée.

Great house for family with teenagers. We really enjoyed the Kitchen & family room areas. Great location on island. The bedroom with the twin beds needs an AC unit. Great two master bedrooms. Nice decks too!

Perfect beach house!! Central location

Awesome clean and pretty house! Perfect location from beach and all the other activities bald head has to offer. Kitchen is stocked with anything you need.

Relaxing Weekend

Fantastic house

Fandango was a great place to stay for a weeks vacation on bald head Island. We have been to the island many times before but the first time in this house and it hits all the marks. The house has a wide-open feel and is very well appointed. Would recommend to anyone.

House was as advertised and then some

We stayed here with a group of friends for my wife’s 40th and it was perfect. The location, the layout of the house and the service provided by the rental agency was fantastic. They made this weekend very special and I would highly recommend for a group of friends or family.

Magical and Perfect

Our group was blown away by the location of this property. Ocean view from the front and golf course in the back. The renovations are perfect and the garage door in the kitchen gives the perfect inside/outside feel. It was all plus so much more. Thank you foe the perfect getaway.

Close and Easy Beach Access

Large, open great room with an incredible kitchen island, huge refrigerator ( as well as a separate beverage/wine refrigerator). Comfortable gathering area with multiple seating options. Would have loved to experience the garage style door but unable, due to hot temperatures. Cooking items (including spices) were amply stocked. Linens and towels were of high quality. The very nice outdoor shower was especially perfect for the grandkids, after a day at the beach. All in all a great BHI experience for our three generation family!

Property was extremely well accommodated. Beautifully decorated. Fireplace not working as advertised and work on exterior ongoing which we we’re not aware of, but overall this did not change our level of enjoyment. Would definitely rent this property again.

50th birthday weekend

There were 10 of us and we had a great time in Bald Head and this house is awesome! Beautiful kitchen! The outside looks a little rundown but the inside is a nice surprise. I was bummed that we couldn’t enjoy the electric fireplace as it’s on in the pictures. The weather was chilly and it would have been nice to enjoy that. Very stingy with toilet paper - only 1 roll per bathroom. Also, no shampoo, conditioner or soap in the shower - most rentals these days provide that. Would stay again though!

Nice house

Open floor plan with large kitchen. House had everything we needed. Clean, attractively decorated and accurately described. Really impressed with BHI Services. I left some clothing items in a dresser and immediately contacted the office to ask if the items could be shipped. Within a week I received the items in the mail. It was very kind of them to make the effort to do this.

Great house and location. Issues with the property manager. Missing 3 of 6 light bulbs (not burned out, missing) in the master bath. 2 of 3 light burned out in another bathroom. Those issues were fixed. One of our 2 keys didn't work. We were told to just leave the back door unlocked as there isn't any crime on the island. We weren't comfortable with that.

We are happy to hear you enjoyed the home. We did send maintenance within 30 min of your call to replace bulbs. The front door keys do work to the property. With it being right by the beach the salt air does make it hard at time but we did lubricate it and the keys are working properly.

Great house for group vacation

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Of all the properties we've stayed at on BHI, I'd have to say that this is the cleanest, best equipped, and best maintained home. The entire property was clean...no surprise mold or dust might anywhere. The kitchen was fabulous. Very well stocked and lots of storage space for everything we brought. Lots of space for folks to eat or keep the cooks company. The TV and surround sound was fantastic- we had a great movie night. The outdoor area was great. The screened in porch on the back deck was great at night. The cushions on the back deck were wet from the condensation/rain right before we arrived but we were able to use the nack dining area. The front deck was large enough for all to enjoy sunset. There were 5 bedrooms. The mattresses were unbelievably comfortable. The room with the bunk beds is right off the living area, so beware if you have kids who go to bed early. Each bathroom was fun - a deep tub, showers with double shower heads... something for everyone! There was a huge basket of beach towels- THANK YOU!! There turned out to be a lot of beach chairs and bikes. My one negative is that the grill was hard to lit - the ignition button doesn't work, there was no lighter, and only one burner that worked. The best part was that we were within walking distance of the beach and had great sunsets. This was definitely a little bit of paradise! We would stay here again.

Cool House, BUT NOT CLEAN

We stayed here July 31st to August 6th, 2021. The decor is cute and rustic/beachy just like in the photos. However, during our stay, we were not pleased. The biggest problem for us were all the bugs inside the house that, everyday, multiple times a day, we had to take care of ourselves (spiders, spider webs, giant roaches- even found in kitchen drawers) Maybe the cause of this is the overgrown bushes and trees close to the house that need to be trimmed back? Our friends stayed at another house on the island this same week, and they did not have this same issue. In addition to the bug/spider problem, the showers were not clean. Hair and gunk in multiple places from previous people were on the walls of the shower in one of the master bedrooms. There were towels with stains on them. Rings from a mug or drink cup were left on the bathroom vanity in the master bath. I cleaned the counter myself upon arrival. There was mold on the floor of the showers that was so bad that when someone was taking a shower running the hot water you could smell the bad smell when walking into the room. There were multiple stains on the couch. The refrigerator had gunk on the all over the door handles from previous renters. I had to remove the gunk myself. We purchased the guest membership to the Bald Head Island Club, and we had difficulty picking up our membership cards even though the club charged us for the membership before we ever got to the island. Picking up our membership cards took about an hour and a half and we had to be patient and persistent in order to get them. They kept trying to tell us they had no record of our membership. The garage was dirty and unorganized from previous people. Beach chairs rusted, dirty and gross and thrown on the ground. Something gross with liquid hanging on a post in a plastic baggy. The house seems like a great house, but the attention to detail in taking care of and cleaning the house is just not there. Overall, we were not happy with our experience staying at Fandango. We left a day early.

I'm so sorry to see this review. We have never had any complaints at this house and it is a renters favorite. We take great pride in our homes and strive to be the best on the island. We are on the island full time and would have been happy to help with any issues. With the rain we had during your stay and being on an island the bugs can be a normal thing. Our homes are treated quarterly and if they were not dead in the house, it may have been time to respray and we would have been happy to send the pest control company if we had known there was an issue. We have checked all the bathrooms and have not found any mold. Unfortunately we are not affiliated with the club and have no control over their process. I know they have had many issues this summer with staffing and it's caused problems across the board at there. We will discuss these other issues with our cleaners and are sorry for your experience. Beautiful house!

We loved staying at fandango. The house was beautiful & very well equipped. There was a house under construction right next-door and the construction workers started working very loudly at 7 AM the first day we were there. Needless to say the first day was not tranquil and peaceful as we had hoped. Fortunately for us, they are not allowed to work on the weekends.

2020 Family Reunion

Despite the global pandemic and onoming Hurricane Isaias, our crew of 27 grandparents, sisters, brothers, cousins and in-laws made the brave decision to go forward with our Bald Head Island family reunion. And thank God we did beacause the island is magical, we survived the hurricane and time with family is priceless! Everyone voted on Fandango as the number one house we've rented on the island. This year we rented 3 lovely houses for our crew. Fandango was the best most central location on the island with the most amazing cooking and entertining set up. The home is absolutely a dream. I loved the layout and decor. The kitchen is so well designed and appointed. What a wonderful beach home! 5 stars!

Loved our visit to bald head!

House was as described, one golf cart broke and was a little annoying to rent another one- although management was helpful in replacing and said will cover cost of that. Kitchen was awesome and well-stocked w pots/pans/spices. Really great location- central on island. 2 families- 7 kids, plenty of room For everyone. There is only one living area- FYI. Super close walk To beach. Great towels- thick nice white towels. And BEST bed- if you like tempurpedic style mattresses. Amazing.

BHI rental

They have done a very nice job at the renovations at this property. Other than just not being able to cool the house adequately in the summer it was a great place. Unfortunately, the 6 seater golf cart didn’t work consistently and broke down several times and didn’t even work for the last two days and the pool at the Shoals club was close almost the entire week so the kids couldn’t even get in the pool which was the purpose for the membership. After two calls to the number listed and no return calls I was a little disappointed more about that than the problems considering the folks at the front desk said we needed to take that up with the rental company which made no sense. This was a nice rental with a great location and again nicely renovated but probably wouldn’t return simply due to the issues.

Thanks for staying with us and we are sorry about the cart issue! Unfortunately, the motor had to be replaced in the 6 passenger during your stay. We did rent you a cart so you had transportation. We also went ahead and replaced the entire ac unit so the house does cool a lot quicker in the Summer season. I am not sure what happened with the membership card and the front desk telling you to call the rental company. We are here full time and would have been happy to assist with any issue. We hope you can return again and have a better experience!
